I know that this is grammatically incorrect, it's just a random thought I'd like to share.
In Mass Effect 2, a video log made by an indoctrinated scientist brought up the idea of the word God being a verb, the meaning of which being: "To bend reality simply by existing, without conscious thought." I was entranced by the thought.
More recently, I heard a real-life hypothesis that the gravitational pull of our star and planets is akin to bending reality. The idea was that the fabric of reality was like a stretched-out sheet, and that the gravitational force of celestial bodies is like the dip made in the sheet by putting a ball on it.
Taking this real-life idea and the fictional definition of God, I came to the rather silly but interesting conclusion that planets and stars are 'godding'. I would enjoy reading feedback on this, even flames.
