Goddamn fuckin hackers

I was playing Left 4 Dead and I finally found a decent match and anyone who still plays Left 4 Dead knows how difficult that can be. Me and my team were doing alright, it was one of those "You get a tank near the beginning of every round" servers and the other team wasn't doing terrible either. We did pretty damn good as survivors and when it came our turn to be infected we started owning them. About halfway through the map, some dickhole on the other team started hacking and gave his team infinite ammo, infinite molly and infinite medkits so obviously they dominated after that. It was then our turn to be survivors and we had all the infinite stuff too, so when the tank came I naturally grabbed the auto-shottie and started blasting away(my team now being down to me, one semi-competent player and two bots) when all of a sudden a second tank(oooh that dirty hacker) pops out of nowhere and they double team me. So I figured "what the hell? when our turn comes as infected we will get extra tanks too", but that did not happen. At this point I told the hackers to fuck off and I rage quit. /rant

So in what horrible ways have you been destroyed because of stupid, game ruining hackers?

well i hated the people in MW2 who did infinite care package hacks.

i don't see any other hackers otherwise. i leave that to PC gamers.

Is it much harder to find a good match on the PC version? Playing the console version, I don't find amazing matches all that often, but I consistently find people that uunderstand the game, know basic tactics such as staying together as survivors or waiting to attack survivors as infected when a boomer or horde opens up an opportunity.

Hackers aside, I find it hard, but not implausible, to believe that PC players of the game are bad by comparison.

Its the only game I know that was completely ruined by all the hackers and their javelin, care package, hiding in terrain, rapid fire semis, and auto aim hacks.

Guh, aimbot hacks. So obvious on a game with a killcam as well.

I've never seen someone hack on Left4Dead, but I can imagine that would piss everyone off.

Never play War Rock. Nearly every single game you'll ever play on it will contain at least one hacker. Your bases explode, the dudes fly and shoot one-hitting missiles in all directions, they run shit-fast, their bullets instantly-kill, etc etc etc.
Ugh.

But besides that, it's all been good.

I mostly just get tired of people screaming that people are hacking because their losing. One game I played this guy just popped "Wall hack" to copy and then spammed it every ten seconds. So for the most part I have less trouble from hackers and more trouble from people accusing others of hacking.

Yeah, I thought raging on the MIC was an Xbox and PS3 stigma, as general rule I don't bother chatting on MIC unless it's with friends and I use a 3rd party app for Comms.

And yeah hacking is a waste of time, not worth getting banned for it.

How much people still playing it? Last time some 6 months ago it was nearly impossible to find a good match with good people as in gamer and social skill. Not even talking about the pings...

Worst case scenario (quite an often encounter, though), playing with Russians.
I know Russian, but never say I do. Just to see and laugh at those bastards plotting against anyone else. Each their sentence ends with "stupid [put ethnicity here]", hah.

Even worse than hackers, perhaps. But I've never encountered the problem you describe during the first year and a half, though.

One time in Diablo 2 I was playing my high level barbarian who was decked out in some sweet gear, then suddenly my character goes nuts and drops everything he had equipped on him, I couldn't do anything, my mouse wasn't responding, I then disconnected and when I finally got back on everything I had was gone. Needless to say, I was pissed.

My WOW account got hacked almost exactly one year after logging on for the last time. and blizzard flagged it as a sold account and warned me that it will be banned.

I had no intentions on going back to wow and view this as a good thing.

So thank you hackers..... I take back all those times that I /ragequit after getting standby'd on Halo 2 ( another thing that turned me off of the halo franchise altogether).
