Godzilla Vs King Kong.

This has been an ongoing debate. I have never seen the film but I believe King Kong wins. But with the new modern films where godzilla can't fire his lazer and is bigger than the empire state building and King Kong tkes an hour or so to climb it, who is the winner?

I think Godzilla is cooler, full stop. He's an overgrown lizard, king kong is a gorilla...Kinda crap isn't it, a nuclear lizard vs a gorilla...


But what do you think?

I'd say Godzilla. Kong is awesome but not as powerful.

Seeing as Godzilla is atleast 300 feet high and King Kong is only 25 feet.

I'd say Godzilla, though I like Kong better.

Going by modern standard alone, Godzilla would win.

Simply, it took a fuck-ton of effort to down godzilla, where is it took a handful of fighter planes of the period to kill Kong.

And let's not forget that Kong is about the size of two buses in the modern films, whereas Godzilla, like you said is the size of (maybe not the empire state but certainly...) a skayy-scraper.

In a fight? Godzilla. Even Toho's King-Kong (from the actual FILM "King-Kong vs. Godzilla") didn't have anywhere near the strengths that Goji did.

The reason, godzilla is way bigger and can prolly bite kongs head off, but king kong is an oversized gorialla, which means he's close to beeing human (as close as gorillas at least) over time evolution will enable him to build an equally oversized sword, or even better oversized M16 (the M is for monkey) or Assault kong 47 rifle.

Sure Godzilla has eggs, but they're not as useful as mini Cloverfields.

Maybe with an added bonus of throwing in the Kraken for good measure.

Peter Jackson ruined King Kong. It was one of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune to see, coming close to Van Helsing. But I'd still have said Godzilla was better anyway, he's just more of a badass.

Ah, but then you have to decide what environment they fight in... The shallows? A Small lake? A puddle?

Cthulhu would probably win. He is a god after all. And also a million feet tall.

In the movie, it's kind of a tie. After an amazing battle, they both fall off a cliff into the ocean. Kong is seen swimming away, and Godzilla never resurfaces. However in the next movie, Godzilla vs. Mothra, Godzilla is washed ashore and buried during a hurricane.

But in a real battle between the 2005 American Kong and the newest Japanese Godzilla(2004), Godzilla would definitely win. He is 50 meters tall, compared to Kong being only like 9 meters. And he can fire his atomic breath, just not in that shit American raping remake.

Well, to be fair, Toho TECHNICALLY made two ending to "King-Kong Vs. Godzilla". B ut, I agree, the Millenium series Goji (I'm such a fucking nerd) against Jackson's King-Kong (or ANY King Kong/Son of Kong) isn't even a fight. Godzilla wins.

I don't know how many godzilla films are out there, but in the one I saw (a pretty well known one), Godzilla dies in the end. On that bridge.
But he could still kill King Kong by accidentally falling on him.

So the winner is... Cthulu!
