Yeah, my dad had a VHS boxset of a lot of the kaiju films when I was younger; it was a fine introduction to some really underrated movies! I even liked the 1998 American film, to an extent.

I always loved the cheesy Godzilla movies as a kid. I guess if it was anything like final wars it would work in IMAX.

Bizarrely enough, just today I found a drawing of Godzilla I did as a kid. He was brown.

And my understanding is they want to take a break from the series for a while so as to increase anticipation. Oversaturation kills interest fast.

I remember these came on TV at night, which I stayed up and watched and it was AWESOME. Especially the big battles in the city.

Greeat, my comment box is screwed up. And I can't really look at Godzilla the same after playing a certain level in Psychonauts. You know the one.

Both God and his magical giant Japanese iguana hate your poor taste in monster movies and your lack faith.

Hmmmm nope its not lack of faith, its an understanding that almost all redone movies suck.

I used to love those movies when I was little. I'll probably go watch some of them after I leave here. I love any of the old monster movies.

Godzilla.

Ah, those were the days. I always loved B-movies. I think it was mostly the low budget costumes. I will always miss films like this and The Day of the Triffids. I'm just glad my Dad made me watch these kind of films. That and war films.

I prefer the old school Godzilla rather than the CGI crap they throw at us. Knowing there was some Japanese guy sweating his ass off in a rubber suit and being flung around on wires was the best part... and the dialogue was awesomely bad when dubbed into Engrish.

A 3D Godzilla? Awww. Wasn't one of the whole appeals of the Godzilla series its cheese factor.

Where is Pimppeter2? He'd be all over this in a hot second.

I loved Godzilla as a child. Watching the new one that might be coming out(I'm not really sure if it's been confrimed yet) would probably give me nostalgaic shivers.

Sigh...oh the memories.

i was a Godzilla finalist.
i haven't seen the movies in so long if forgotten a lot but, i miss it.

One of my favorite cartoons as a kid was the Godzilla one a loooong time ago.

It was so awesome.
