and even Redneck Rampage "for reasons entirely unrelated to who may or may not have been involved in shutting down the US Government," according to GOG.
*Rapturous applause*

GOG, it seems like every couple of days you give me a reason to love you even more. And I loved you quite a lot to begin with.

Either they're being funny, or the GOG people's grasp of the news is childlike in its ineptitude.
You saw the reason they included "Redneck Rampage" right? That e-mail address is dripping with irony.

OT: I love the people at GoG. I don't buy PC games anywhere else these days.
Hah, reread that part now, cheers. Glad to see my initial suspicions were unfounded. I've loved GOG for too long to take their words and actions lightly.
Yeah they're just having some fun with the "thanks Obama" meme while giving those affected by all this some free games.

That's a decent selection of free games.

Not likely to cheer someone up who just lost his/her job, but one looks for silver linings where they can.

Most federal government employees aren't allowed to accept free things based on their status as part of the federal government.

But people are always trying to give 'em shit. What's a fed to do?

Would it really have mattered if they were serious? Like, would you alter your business practices?
