Going to uni soon, hardware advice

SO, I was considering two options, as I'm going to university soon but would like to continue to game while having something mobile to take notes in seminars too.

Which makes more sense to you? Also, remember that actual conversion of currency is pretty irrelevant, as price from dollar:euroound are almost 1:1:1 when it comes to technology prices.

I may ask, when are you thinking of getting the Galaxy Tab 2? I would suggest the Surface Pro if MS decides to release it sometime in 2013.

Other than that, I say get the gaming laptop as it should be perfectly fine for your needs. If you'd like the tablet, grab yourself the Surface Pro (whenever the hell MS decides to release it), the Nexus 7, or the Tab 2.

A 900 dollar tablet? x.x sorry, no. I'm thinking 10 inch tablet since the keyboard will be so much easier to type on if it's that size.

I'd also like some kind of future upgradeability. Especially on grphics card. We need more and more power so much quicker.

Well, if you get that laptop you won't be able to upgrade the graphics card. Laptops only "usually" allow you to upgrade the hard drive and RAM so if you plan on wanting future upgrades I'd go with the desktop and tablet option. I thinking brining around a tablet would be easier than lugging around a laptop as well.

Also, with a new group of more powerful consoles on the horizon, hardware requirements will be going up so another reason to pick the desktop/tablet rig so that you can upgrade your gpu when the time comes instead of having to get a another computer.
