Women in this forum, Disregard that title! Feel free to take your tops off whenever you like.

That said, sometimes its not a matter of comfort or modesty. Sometimes you just like to feel the air on more of your body than just your arms and face. It happens so rarely these days that being outside without a shirt on is really quite bracing, in my opinion. Especially with a nice breeze.

I actually prefer it the way that it is, I probably wouldn't like breasts as much as I currently do if it was as normal for women to be shirtless as it is for men.

If I ever went topless, my knockers would cause traffic jams because they're so fine!

But really, it would just be lots of perverts staring at tits.

Wouldn't Ontario Canada be to cold to want to go around topless?
for the last two weeks,it's been around 40 celcius including humidex(that's over 100 farenheit).. we have one of the biggest temperature ranges...from 40 to -40.

With or without the doors attached? =P

OT: Nnnn, it's all about social norms. Hell during the Renaissance right up until about the 19th century, it was considered more erotic for a woman to go around with bare legs than bare breasts. Compare frequency of cleavage vs thighs in C17 & 18 paintings. Call it a 'phase' in the evolution of the human psyche. *shrug*

Personally, I don't really care that much. I dislike going around with anything short sleeved unless I'm at home, much less topless. Sure I look OK, but my skin is very pale, and I prefer it that way.

There's a big difference between having a look and ogling imo. It's kinda disturbing when you have someone talking at yer chest, especially if it's someone who's not your type.

Polite people keep strong feelings private to strangers, until they know if it's a good idea or not.

For me there's definitely a line between socially acceptable and being pervy.

Uhm... I love taking my shirt off. Or any other clothing. Less clothes is more comfortable, really.
And not to point my finger or start arguments, but I really get the feeling that the OP is running a war against people with no shirts. I mean, whats wrong with taking your shirt off? Obviously a lot of people find it refreshing or liberating, as do I.

Its overrated, but I don't see a reason for it to be against the law.

Offended you say? Well then, be offended. Its only you that's got an issue with it. Also, I can't help but feel that if people were shirtless more often, the whole thing of "i feel really uncomfortable with people staring at my breasts" would go down a fair bit as people wouldn't care enough to look anymore.

Aren't like 99% of places against topless women, except in a few states and on nude beaches? Pretty sure that's the case.

Anyway, with a society so focused on boobs, I am not surprised women don't parade around topless every chance they get, nothing would ever get done.

Guys should stop taking there shirts off unless there is physical condition, I feel embarrassed for them no one wants to see a boney stick figure as much as they don't want some larger lout having his belly looking at them.

I am not saying be a body builder but be physically fit, maybe that's just me though.

I was just there. I saw three women go topless... all were part of an anarchist hippie group taking free chili from the Chili Wagon on Commercial Drive.

Twelve days, several thousand people, and three topless hippies, two of them were OLD, too. And two of them looked pretty darn cold and uncomfortable.
Son, if they were taking free chili from a chili wagon, I dont even want to know how uncomfortable theyre going to be in an hour or so.
Hey, I helped MAKE that chili.

IT WAS FREAKING DELICIOUS. And it didn't burn coming out the other side, which means it was the best chili I've ever eaten.

so if it's someone that you're interested in, it's not as bad?

that means your line seems to be whether or not you're attracted to them, not the behaviour itself or anything the guy has control over.

We (at Vancouver, Canada) have a nude beach near UBC (University of British Columbia), it's called Wreck Beach (Not sure why).

Er... no. I was saying ogling is more creepy if it's someone who you would prefer not to be doing so.
The guy has a choice between having a bit of a look (which is pretty natural) and staring in a rather obvious manner (which one can usually help). If the girl has time to say "er, my face is *up here*", you've prolly been starin' a bit too long.
Some people like being ogled at... but in my social circles, that's definitely not a common thing.

How the fuck would they be perverts?

Im not attacking you here but I just dont get it. Nowadays anyone who likes tits is a pervert. Like, what the fuck. Since when is it socially unacceptable to like tits, something thats prewired in almost every mans brain. I dont give a fuck if youre a virgin or getting laid daily, if youre fat or thin, married or whatever the fuck, if you see a good looking woman walking around you are more than likely to look at her with PG rated thoughts in mind.

Im a pervert for liking tits? So be it. I will wear that badge with pride!
I'm not saying it's wrong to like boobs, but some women don't like men oogling their goodies. And that's all that would result. I'm a tits girl myself but it doesn't mean I go around looking at every pair of brests I see. And even if a woman was encouraging one man to look, if she's shirtless, what's to stop unwanted attention from men she isn't attracted too/finds creepy?

Make sense now?

i spend most of the summer stark bollock naked because i'm a fat hairy bloke. If i wasn't naked when it's warm i would probably die.

I work nights too so i don't really go out much.
