I'm looking for good PC games around $20-$25, preferably not brand new so I don't have to upgrade my computer, and preferably action (i.e. not WoW or Civ)

Have you tried out Torchlight? An excellent choice for around the $20 mark, you can get it on Steam and in the store, but you have to go hunting for the latter. Also, I think Left4Dead 2 is going for around the $19 mark on Steam right now.

Magicka [http://store.steampowered.com/app/42910/] is one to look at. It's fun as all hell.

Basically, your a Wizard with control over a bunch of elements that you can then mix and match to create everything from Beams of Arcane Lightning to massive freaking Meteor Showers that can blow up you, your friends and every living organism in the area!

Best thing about it? It's only $10 on steam and offers you a demo so you can try it out before.

You can also check out Steams website [http://store.steampowered.com] for other games.

Go to gog.com and you can pick up 2 or 3 classic games for that amount since everything is $6 or $10. Action games I can recommend available there are: Beyond Good and Evil, Psychonauts, Outcast, MDK 2, Alien Shooter 1, and Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded.

Portal. Portal portal portal portal. Make sure you hurry, though; the sequel comes out 2 mondays from now, and you'll want to have completed this one first.

Team Fortress 2 seems to fit that bill. Or pay $10 more to pick up the orange box, which has some great bang for your buck on Steam.
