The original anime of Full Metal Alchemist. **Spoiler** They both wind up in our world without their alchemy powers and away from everyone they ever knew. Hopefully the one that follows the manga (brotherhood) will have a better ending.

The ending to the first anime series of Full Metal Alchemist. It was soooooo disappointing and left things hair-pullingly unfinished. Even with the movie "finale", it felt so disappointing and hollow.

Luckily, that was only because they didn't follow the Manga in the first anime series. The second, Brotherhood, followed it fine and ended superbly.

I am also betting money that both Naruto and Bleach will have horrible endings.
I don't know about Bleach because I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but I doubt Naruto will end badly. I'm pretty sure he'll wind up Hokage. I mean it says he will fulfill the prophecy of bringing peace to the world anyway.

Cowboy Bebop - Lame and way too soon.
On the contrary, I think the ending came at just the right moment, they'd built Fayes growing sense of isolation up perfectly towards the last 4 episodes, and Spike's ongoing mystery with Julia was the backdrop of the series and had to come along at some point....Jets story development seems to be missing completely from the end of the series I admit...but how is it lame? The ending IS cowboy bebop, thats what it does, thats its style...it burns out at its brightest. Saying the ending was lame is like calling out Shawn Michaels for being a great
professional wrestler...
Spike don't you die out there
I wont
dies
LAME! and it was way too soon
I think when Ed left, everybody could already tell it wasn't going to end on a happy note.

Porko Roso. while the race was cool, i felt that a lot of the stuff in movie didn't need to happen and could have focused more on the curse of Porko and pehaps getting it resloved.

Of course Naruto will end badly. It hasn't been good for ages.

The Pani Poni Dash ending left me looking like an idiot w/ my mouth agape. It ended pretty much the same way as Monty Python and the Holy Grail; abruptly and with no sense of closure. In all fairness though, that anime didn't even try to make sense, so I'm not that pissed off about it.

It would have been totally out of character for a character so opposed to killing to kill his opponent, especially when he had a pretty good way of rendering him harmless.

I would say: the Twelve Kingdoms has a rather abrupt end. Compared to how good the entire series is, it's really bad that it ends the way it does.
It felt as if a lot of stuff was left unfinished.
btw, i seee some people mention horrible anime and classify them as good. *baffled*

While I didn't in any way hate it, I was kind of upset when they ended the History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi anime when they did, especially when the manga is still doing really well.

Neon Genesis Evangelion ended terriably. Then they made the End of Evangelion to properly end it and that movie wasn't good at all.

I hope they don't fuck up the Rebuild series ending.
I actually loved the ending of Evangelion, it left to interpretation, which I appreciated. I actually consider it one of the endings with a meaning. But it's just my opinion.
Actually I really used to like the ending but the more I watched and realized what it was. Also its very cryptic and I never understood a lot of it.

aang was a child. and a pacifist. killing the firelord (and yes, ordering others to kill counts as killing, or else hitler was innocent) would have gone against all of his beliefs and spat on the memory of all the monks and friends he lost. bring me hitler, crippled and beaten, and I wont kill him. the though would never cross my mind.

what would killing the firelord solve?
would it bring anyone back?
did you miss that one of the major messages in the show was that revenge and killing are not the answer?
what about the whole parallelism of the situation?
aang=young, good, PEACEFUL
firelord= adult, evil, VIOLENT

Soul Eater. Awesome weapon fights galore throughout the series, and how do they end it? A hope filled punch. What is this? Naruto?
Also, not really anime, but Samurai Jack.
"You know how this is going to end right? You defeat me, I'll fly off in the distance saying 'I'll get you next time!' and then the whole thing will repeat itself."
And yes, that's exactly how it ended.

Code Geass. It was a great series, but the ending came out of nowhere in the last few episodes, and it left me feeling really disappointed.

Am I the only one who wanted Kouta and Lucy/Kaede/Nyu to end up together?

WAS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK????
