Any Metal Gear Solid, but 4's were weaker than the previous installments and God of War 1 & 2.
Hell no. 4's actively had some style, some freaky and grand moments. 2 was the weak one.
Especially Rey was weak. Too weak actually. Fatman was kinda cool.
Right up until you realised you went from fighting enemies that could interact and change the nature of their surrounding reality, including blinding the player, to fighting a fat man on roller skates.
You said it. A fat man on roller skates. Come on that is quite something!

15 good boss fights and 1 giant, fucking annoying turtle.
I hate that turtle so much. It never wants to step on the geyser.
Omfg I just remembered that thing, piece of trash it was. My absolute favorite i believe was the sand dragon and the dog thing that chased you around the ruins.

In terms of epic fights i'd say Yiazmat from FFXII, fucking long fight but hugely satisfying when its over. But that aside, Half-life 2 should not be forgotten.

Very fun, I thought that game was pretty great.

The hardest bosses on any of the Final Fantasy series, they are pretty good to do.

No boss battle will ever compete with the epic win that was this boss fight.

The most annoying thing about him is that in the time it takes you to recover from the shock of how awesome he is, he's already ruined you three times.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
every boss fight was epic much like all LoZ games.......except Twilight Princess.....too easy no matter what anyone says.
followed by final fantasy's (not XII or X-2) just because you had to work it all out for your self........namely all the bosses
FINNALLY I find some one that shares my opinion on TP bosses.

Hey don't know if people remember or even know, but Abbysson (I think that's how you spell it) from Tales of Symphonia. He was the hidden boss and a terribly awesome one at that. Also from the game the coliseum team match.

Shodan would receive a vote for a good villain, as with sylvia from no more heroes, but i'd have to give Kefka my most villainous award...

Shadow of the Colossus, no contest. Some of the absolute best boss fights in gaming history.

Also have to echo those that have mentioned No More Heroes, the boss fights really made up for the lacking free roam mode. And Bad Girl was just...rawr.

And all of the God of War games have been pretty impressive as far as bosses go. Some great fights in those.

TP, as awesome as it looked and played the bosses where so dulled down they proved no contest to proper zelda gamers.....even Ganon and he has always been hard to beat in all the other zelda's but this time it was "bite mash buton till dead".

gannondorf (if thats how you spell it) in ocarina of time was awesome
pretty much all of the boss fights in MGS1...greatest game ever!

not sure how everyone feels about WoW but back in the day before burning crusade C'Thun was the funnest boss ever, even if he was ridiculously hard, all 40 people had to stay a certain distance apart while still being in range to attack, heal etc, then had to move around the boss together while maintaining their distance apart...took so much coordination

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLAIgt6HnHY <- C'Thun kill
http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/wowwiki/images/6/60/CThun_Positioning.jpg <- what was involved in phase one of the fight.

I loved the Star Wolf fights in Lylat Wars, the final boss in the original Resi was the nuts. I got a hell of an adrenaline rush beating Tyrant, though my lack of herbs and sprays may have had something to do with it. Also Vergil in DMC 3 was brilliant.

I found the boss fights in lost planet were pretty cool. Fucking scary at times with some of the bosses being so huge and agressive, and trying to kill that worm is one hell of a challenge.

While he wasn't an actual boss fight, I say Andre Ryan was a great villain. I hated that bastard. And while his antipathy wasn't aimed at you, Sander Fucking Cohen was a nasty piece of work. He's one of my favorite video game characters ever. What a creepy, albeit sad and pitiable man.
