Lately I have started to teach my bird to whistle the Yoshi Island castle theme. He has got some sections but still has a way to go. But this got me thinking:

Has anyone got a pet that can do an interesting or amazing trick?

I had a cat who could open doors (our house uses handles, not knobs). My current cat just trained me to open doors for her.

Ive got a yellow lab who goes on point when hunting. If you know anything about dogs, you should know that labs usually dont point. In fact she is the first lab Ive seen do it, shes purebred too.
Also my cat likes to jump off the second story balcony and then run in circles.

Our house has sliding doors in it, and when my cat was a newborn it had figured out how to slide it's paw underneath the door, push up and out, and weighing a hundreth of the door open it. We solved this for an hour by pushing a mat underneath the door so he couldn't work his paw under, but I saw him grab the mat with his teeth and start pulling it. He couldn't move it enough, but it was impressive.
Also, I had an Alaskan Malamute that I am positive was a goat. She ate plastic, chocolate (broke into an entire Halloween bag), pillows, rope, silverware, and so on.

My cat is an avid mouse hunter and door opener. If there is a mouse in my room I can always count on her opening the door and carrying it out between her teeth, I like mice but they make a lot of noise (quiet as a mouse be damned), I look up from my semi-conscious drooling to give a "good girl, freckles", yes her name is freckles.

My dog can always find a ball on the property, I just say "where's your ball, bell" (her name is bell) and she will run around until she finds a ball.

Your second cat sounds smarter.

One of my cats can use the toilet. Flushing and all.
Oh and my dog has discovered how to be a hyperactive, bastard moron, if that counts for anything ... it doesn't? Damn!

I have a cat that does that when he wants to go into the basement. He jumps, latches onto the handle, the door clicks open, he lets go, paws it until it opens more, and down he goes.

I used to have a cat that, despite being declawed, was pretty much the most efficient hunter ever.

My dog can talk. Seriously, when she's angry, she starts howling, and changes the sound so it's almost like words. And we know when she's really iritated.

Usually when she is hungry.

Well my roommates dog (Named Murder.) will chew through the door when scared. He is really scared of fireworks so we usually have to fix the door during every New Years.

Every time I'm at my parents house, I try to teach her birds to sing Funkytown. One of them has kind of a twisted version of it down.

My dog Jerry can open car windows (and escape out of them occasionally ¬_¬) and escape from his cage when the bottom lock isn't closed.

And my other dog Ben (did ya see what we did thar?) always does a long howl that sounds like "Boooooooooooooor!" instead of barking, and has the amazing ability to sleep all day and only get up for food!

My dog tried to hide in the drier during a thunderstorm. He's a big dog, so he only fit in half way. Took me and my mom about fifteen minutes to pull him out. Does that count as a trick?

My mom has two cats, and one of them quickly learned how to open doors and let himself out. What´s even worse, however, is that he taught the same trick to our other cat, so now we have to keep a close eye on both of them, in case they decide to embark on a magnificent adventure on their own.

I had the best pidgeon catching cat called Spike. You'd walk into the room and wonder who'd had a pillow fight untill he's proudly pop through the door drop a half mutilated, half alive bird at your feet and wait for affection!

EDIT: Skills for Kills, agent!
