James bond studio MGM is over 6 billion in debt as a result bond 23 is on hold. This makes me very sad as a longtime
Bond fan. What do you think will the movies ever come back or is 007 dead?
The new 007 film was finished ages ago.. It's just they don't have the money to publish and distribute it.
I wish some mysterious benefactor would come along and save the day...
*hint hint, Richard Branson*.
I'd like to see a source on that, please.
There's no written or physical source.
I was informed by a credible source through sound and entertainment contacts of mine that I've previously worked for.
You don't have to believe me.
Well, then I feel like I kinda have to call bullshit on it. Sorry, but I'm too boring to be optimistic.

I am English. And on behalf of English men everywhere let me make this very clear. We aren't like that. Any affiliation with that twat is simply circumstantial and you can't prove otherwise.
Well, now I don't have any reason to visit England anymore.

OT: I'd actually prefer if they stayed dead. Quantum of Solace showed that without Ian Fleming's writing the stories aren't as good as they used to be. Let the series die out and come up with something new.

Like Agent Cody Banks!
Oh no. Don't visit England. It's full of weirdo's, Chavs and cheese rolling contests. Stay as far away as you can.

As for your last bit of the post..... I severely hope that was some sort of bad joke. If more films like that were made I think I'd form a terrorist cell devoted to making people make good films.

For every disgusting film we harm a rabbit. On like TV.

People would cow-tow to us in a matter of weeks.
How could I ever joke about something as awesome as this?

Who doesn't love Frankie Muniz?

[sub][sub]Yes, I am joking. What, do you think I'm mad!?[/sub][/sub]
I think what's funnier is you posted the German version of that theatrical promo poster, hahaha.
I think what's funniest is that you think it's a German poster when it's actually a Danish poster!

Hahahaha... burned.
Oh well. Well played sir, well played.
In reference to my source and you calling bullshit, well that's your choice. I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise.

James Bond is not allowed to die! He's my role model for crying out loud! He gets to knob beautiful women (Halle Berry is my personal favourite), blow shit up, has ALL the best gadgets and, saving the best until last...

The Cars.

In the new Casnio Royale, when the camera panned across to the DBS Bond had been assigned, EVERY guy in the cinema went: "Ooooohhh...."

Bond is immortal.

Mm. I won't be heartbroken to see it go, it's been around for longer than any other movie franchise that I can think of...it's had a pretty good run.
I did hear an (admittedly unconfirmed by me) rumor that Daniel Craig may not play the next Bond even if there is another movie, something about him maybe being a..."switch hitter", as it were.
I only heard it through word of mouth though, so take that with more than a few grains of salt.
Unfortunate to see a decent movie studio go down, but...well, if they need to ax/put on hold a movie series or cancel movies to stay afloat, that's their business.

But on topic to the question, I don't think he's truly "dead". They'll probably make more Bond films once they get back on track financially.

He's not likely to come back to the role because he will probably be working on something else by the time they reactivate the project. The hold on production frees him from his contractual obligation to the role (assuming they already contracted him).

I like Bond films, but I really hate the recent turn they've taken. Going from campy and over-the-top movies straight to fucking Batman was an extremely awkward shift. I hope that if he does come back we'll be seeing more Brosnan and Connery style and less of this super-serious revenge-driven brooding Daniel Craig bullshit.

Craig's revenge driven bullshit was better than dalton's revenge driven bukllshit.

I really don't care if I'm honest. I haven't been of the new films since they changed the format. Give me the old style any day :p

I miss when Bond was kind of spiteful and snarky. It was always fun to see him kick a whole bunch of ass, and then take a minute to fix his bow tie and his hair :p Brosnan and Connery FTW

I don't care anymore. When they startet with Craig the movies went to hell. Brosnan and Connery were best.

I don't like the new guy anyway. Hated the ones with him in it too.
Agreed. Brosnan was the perfect Bond. Connery was ugly as hell and his acting reflected that.

Bond Movies have been around forever. Let it die with honor and dignity.
