I'm a gamer on a budget. I'm looking for goood games preferably under £10, but if you suggest something really good I'll stretch to £15 (Hey, I have no qualms with going without a few meals).

So, any suggestions?

get modern warfare because it will never get old.
That's actually still quite expensive...3/4 of the launch price on occasion, even with its age.

As for good gameplay/money ratio, Mass Effect is pretty damn cheap...

splinter cell double agent, I just got it the other day for 12 dollars.
It's a blast, i'm not normally a fan of stealth games, but this one is a lot of fun.

yeah, you're right. but it still is a brilliant game. anyway, mass effect is good and it will get useful if you are willing to get the second one because stuff will carry over.

You may also wish to try the following:

Call of Duty 2 (won't last too long, though)

Prey (Easy as hell since you can't die after chapter 5ish, but it did portals in cool ways before portal, they were even Blue and Orange!)

The Orange Box. 5 4 great games in one. Beat that! Portal's the weak link, imo. Being a good game, but with no replay value.

Not sure about the whole pounds to dollar conversion but I am guessing that is about 20 bucks in the US, assuming these are 10-15 pounds I would recommend...
Assassins Creed
Bully
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Orange Box
Lost Planet
Burnout Revenge(Best one in the series)

Hope this helps out

Condemned: Criminal Origins. The tensest game I've played since Thief II and you can get it for less than $20 at GameStop. Crackdown's also fun for the whole rooftop sandbox aspect.

If you're willing to buy pre-owned, I'd say you could get pretty much anything for around your budget.

I'm (unfortunately) over in the states, and I don't care enough about politics/economics to know the exchange rates, but I've been in the same situation for a while now, and the games I ended up grabbing were (in the order in which I procured them):

Crackdown
Dead Rising
Call of Duty 4 **Only one that was more than $20, but well worth it**
Assassin's Creed

Burnout is definitely worth a look as well, but as of this moment I don't have the funds to pick it up even if I found it.

You can pick up Mass Effect used for pretty cheap, if you haven't played it yet, you should give it a go.

This is the best gaming deal you will probably find on Xbox. Almost three complete games and Portal, for only $20 Canadian!(not sure what that is in Euros)
