While I know that The Escapist has it's very own deals column [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/123170-Free-Europa-Universalis-3-Plus-SimCity-Drops-to-32] each week, I thought it might be a good idea to perhaps something similar in this part of the forums. Mainly for a couple of reasons. The Dealzon column is very American intensive, which to be fair does make sense considering the majority of users are American, but obviously leaves out any possible deals for anyone else.

Another reason for this thread was that obviously the Dealzon column is only once a week (as far as I'm aware) so it will also miss out on any one-day deals or stuff like that that aren't running on the day the column is put up.

Right, explanation over, now onto the deal which I found (and decided to make the thread after seeing there weren't many all-purpose threads)

The Twisted Pixel Bundle in now available on Xbox, a bundle containing 4 games made by Twisted Pixel. And those games would be The Maw, Comic Jumper, Splosion Man and Ms. Splosion Man. All for the 800MP, which I'd consider an absolute bargain considering Comic Jumper on it's own at the moment costs 1200MP.

Some information was posted, since it is a bundle after all

"This bundle pack offers these games together at a discounted rate over individual purchases. The games in this bundle are available as individual downloads in the Xbox Games Marketplace and are exactly the same.

Be aware that it is possible to download the same game twice. If you already own one of these games there is no additional discount on this bundle, nor do you receive an additional copy of the game you already own."

Anyway, if you have an Xbox and have been looking to pick up these games, you can find it on the Xbox, or add it to your download queue here [http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Twisted-Pixel-Games-Bundle/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802584113fa]

Right, hopefully that didn't come off as particularly advertise-y, it's just because I really enjoyed Twisted Pixel's games and feel like people should pick them up XD

Anyway, that's me done, if you find any other particularly good deals, whether they be one-day, part of a monthly sale, or you just notice a great game for a fantastic price, feel free to post it in here.

Sounds like a great deal, too bad I already own two of those games :/

Keep up the good work (as long as you don't attract mod wrath), I love hearing about deals on games!

Fallout 1, 2 and tactics are only £16 on Steam. Keep thinking I might get round to buying them, but I'm not sure if my computer can take it.

Get the gog.com ones.

And yes, your computer can handle it, assuming it was made some time after 1998.

Heroes 5 titles are on sale right now on Gamer's Gate [http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/mightmagic?aff=ggnews] If you like turn based strategy these are really good. If you liked Heroes 3, then...you may like 5 - it's really similar (in some ways it feels like a facelift and fresher mechanics) it keeps most of what made Heroes 3 good and adds more things. If you never played Heroes but you want to - this is a good chance to do so.

A word here - make sure to either pick up all the titles, or at least get Tribes of the East (if you're a skimp) - it's a standalone expansion that has everything the base game + Hammers of Fate have (HoF introduces the dwarves as a faction) but it adds much more - not only a new race but new mechanics, as well. While Heroes 5 vanilla looks like an updated Heroes 3, ToE really brings a difference and makes the game stand out. You'd need the three games if you want to play the campaign which...isn't that interesting, to be honest - if you're not after that, then ToE is your thing.
