Long story short, I'm too lazy to find all my CDs, downloads, etc. to fill up I-tunes with my music so I've relocated to their Radio section and the only good DAB station I know so-far is Planet Rock

So escapists, got any good Digital Radio stations I should be listening to? Any type of music just no chat shows also I live in the UK so I need stations with signal

Cheers in advance

Absolute radio and all its sister channels(80's, 90's, 00's). Most of the time it's rock music bu every now and again Gotye and Adele pops up.

Depends upon your taste.

Like Total said, Absolute can give a good mix, if you like rock with a little variation.

I think Xfm is a brilliant channel, but it might be a little bit too indie-focused for some.

Kerrang! Radio used to be alright, though I'm not sure if it's even on-air any more.

Then you've got your usual Capital/Heart or whatever for your modern chart repeats.

Video game music because video game music is awesome. [http://game.rainwave.cc/] And it's almost entirely listener controlled.

Although digital radio stations might be something I'm not familiar with because I don't listen to a whole lot of music, but (obviously) that's a website.

I recommend two sites, both of which have a wide variety of options, and are free of charge (unless you want more options to choose from, but the basic functions still work without paying).

Last FM [last.fm]
Slacker Radio [slacker.com]

Curse you, ninja![sub]But awesome, that other people know of it on this site[/sub]

But yes, I second this, DI.fm is great. I've paid for their premium service for about 3 years now, but their free service is awesome as well, even if it's not as great quality as premium is. It's got pretty much every genre in electronic music covered, so anyone with the slighest interest in electronic music should be satisfied.

If you want great independent music, from all around the world, try the australian government financed Triple J. Thanks to its finance it has no ads, and its a "youth" station so it does whatever the hell it wants...pretty much all types of music depending on the show, but mostly alternative, "indie" and folk stuff.

http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/

They also have a purely digital station, which has pretty much no DJs, but its all Australian independant music.
