Okay, so this is inspired by the 'Felt Happy/Felt Sad Today' threads that popped up. Have you ever had a really good day and then just had something or especially just seen/realised something that brought you down? Especially something minor?

Like for example, I'm past the mid point of Steins;Gate and I just feel like shit because of it for reasons I can't explain due to the spoiling nature of it. Hell, it wouldn't even bother some people...but this scene in particular was just....yeah...:

I couldn't find the anime version, but this explains it well enough...

So yeah, good day brought down, even for a little while by something?

Captcha: lovey dovey

You mean Captcha, especially so close to V-Day

I've had a mostly decent day, but I'm currently infuriated by the fact I can't seem to know whether I can read a license plate at twenty meters. It's for my drivers license application. I'm terrible at estimating anything, and I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out something in my house that's about a meter long so I can try to estimate whether the one I read outside my window is twenty meters away.

The joke of it all? I don't even want to learn to drive. I'm getting it so that I can buy booze with none of the hassle I get with bloody citizencard.

Also, Dragon's dogma.

I don't know if I can handle this game. I really don't. I want to like it, there's parts of the game that seem to want me to like it, and then there's parts of the game committed to not allowing me to have fun.

Example: Hey, how would you like a game in which levelling is important as enemies don't scale, but quests give you little indication as to what you're getting yourself into, reducing any attempts to do side quests into an incredibly frustrating guessing game in which you travel half way across the map (with little to no options for fast travel) only to find the enemies you came to fight are way, way out of your league?

And don't even get me started on the fact that I lost a load of discipline points via the complete lack of any warning that changing my mage to a sorcerer takes away his healing spell, THE most important reason to have a mage in your party, AND when I invested into a load of strider skills only to find the majority don't carry over into ranger.

GRAAAAAAAAAAGH! Technically, as I got in from CeX, I can go back before 1:30 tomorrow and refund it for something in store. Of course, I could trade it in after that, but I won't get the full amount. So obviously, I'm getting tempted to trade it in, even though I looked just today and there doesn't seem to be anything else I'd bother trading for. So maybe it's best that I just try and persevere. LET ME LOVE YOU, DRAGON'S DOGMA!

Today is a good example of that-

As usual I was working today (that day is always my work day) but it was sunny. I'm pretty sure the sun being out is the reason why there were more people in the street and coming to the store. So instead of the typical quiet day I associated Sunday as, it was fairly busy in a good way as we were able to beat our target profit at 1pm.

Everything was running smoothly and I just got the shopfloor neat and tidy in the afternoon (my usual task on Sunday) until it was 4pm, half an hour until closing time.

That when three bus load of kids enter the store. There were so many kids in the store that my supervisor had to get the second till on for me to use! Even with the only two of us working on that day, we were working over time as the store finally shut at 5.30pm! It took so long due to that many kids in the store and few of them keep bringing too much stuff for them to buy so my supervisor has to remove an item from the total list (I'm not authorize to do that myself). Also a few adult took advantage of us working after closing time to buy what they wanted aswell.

The once neat and tidy shopfloor was a total mess an hour later! While I did trid my best to quickly tidy up but we were already working late so I couldn't tidy it all. Granted we did make alot of profit at the end but we were already had a good profit to begin with so the manager could be pissed at the state of the store tommorrow morning.

So now I'm abit of a hurry checking the usual site and playing my game thanks to those kids.

Whenever test or exam results are doled out at the end of the day.
We've all been there.
There's always that one grade that just sours your mood, as well as the mood of your parents who will now accuse you of slacking off.

Simple trick for that. When the examinator says something like hold up and read that plate, make a couple of more steps while half turning around saying, excuse me what did you say?. 20 meters can become 15 real quick that way.

OT, i have to second the king of asgaard. You go to school, in a fairly good mood. Thinking you made a few of the past exams at least somewhat properly. Turns out you didnt. Always causes a downer for a few hours.

I'm gonna watch until the end (which I 'm now feeling I'll regret) but holy crap I felt something in me die once I watched that episode till the end...It probably would have been the most effective ending I've seen for a while. But still, holy crap you were right.

Well, I don't know if I felt particularly good in the morning, but I did have a day that just kept going downhill...

Failed an important college assignment, one of those "if you don't pass this one, you don't get to keep coming" type assignments, so that was shit. I know what'll cheer me up! I'll visit my girlfriend on the way home! So I get to her house, she breaks up with me. Double shit. So I drive home, and as I get into the house, mum meets me at the door: "Your Aunt has cancer". All of that happened within about 4 hours. I swear I didn't make any of that up.

It's still the worst day of my life, and I don't think anything is going to beat it for a while.

Oh yeah, all the fucking time. The smallest thing can make my mood drop like a stone. When it happens I just try to avoid human contact either IRL or over the internet until it's over.

Well, I don't know what it was honestly, but I started the day happy but about halfway through I felt like absolute shit. I think I am just uncomfortable around most people right now. I have friends but the fact is we ARE the loners, really. Feels like, I dunno... alone with company? Yeah, that's the best way to describe it. I'm not alone, but I'm not exactly the guy everyone talks to. I start out thinking today might be good but I end up remembering how hard it is to be what is "socially acceptable" at this school (being mostly filled with jocks). That and alot of my friends are having a hard time for various reasons that I wont go into detail with.

Sorry, I don't mean to flow too many emotions through my posts, but I am having a bad one today.
