I've picked up a copy of SSIV Arcade and UMvC3 for the PS3 and I need a decent fighting controller. The Dualshock 3's ok but after a while the d-pad makes my thumb hurt like crazy. I've seen some Sega Saturn USB controllers on eBay but apparently they're just cheap knockoffs and the official ones are hard to get. Then there's the Mad Catz Street Fighter fight pad, but I've heard both good and bad reviews for them.
I would get an arcade stick but
a) I can't afford one, and
b) I've never actually used one for fighting games , so I don't think I'd be any good with it.
So escapists, can you recommend any good fighting controllers? What do you guys use?
Oh and is anyone else excited for Street Fighter x Tekken?
