I think it started to get shitty during the first season.Darth Mobius post=18.69868.674049 said:I came in about halfway through the series... By the time Mulder was abducted, I was just done...Xhumed post=18.69868.673724 said:^ It was a rather anti-climatic ending I suppose.
The X-Files started off great, got better, then after a few seasons started to disappear up it's own arse. By the end I had just stopped caring about any of it.
It's very likely because you paid to see the film...TheBadass post=18.69868.674047 said:Spiderman 3. I walked away from that film feeling so unsatified, and I just couldn't figure out why<...
The film is bleak enough as it is. I wouldn't call it a random hero moment, it's in keeping with the character- his desire to survive. The music sting was a bit much though, makes it a tad ludicrous.PedroSteckecilo post=18.69868.673875 said:No Country For Old Men made some serious plotting mistakes at the end. I also hate the ending for the original Dawn of the Dead, anyone who has seen it knows why, sudden random hero moment when the ending should be dark and depressing.
but thats the point, it tries to leave no closure or no hero of the movie that is somehow invincible and can escape a trained killer (although the hero was in the military), in the end the hero dies. it tries to reflect real life in the fact that there wouldn't be any closure.Aginor27 post=18.69868.673574 said:while not a terrible ending, i didn't like how No Country for Old Men left it sort of open like that.. If it works then sure it's okay, but in this case it felt kind of unresolved.
Yeah I remember that it was cool, thebobmaster post=18.69868.674071 said:To go for a lesser known show, a little program on the Sci-Fi channel called Jake 2.0 had a rather poor ending, due to the show getting canceled because of low ratings. Course, with only 12 episodes shown (four more were filmed and later syndicated), it's kinda hard to get high ratings, but that's a different story.
It took me about twenty episode of SG-1 with Browder to recognise him from farscape, I felt ashamed...Sirisaxman post=18.69868.674110 said:It's funny you mentioned SG-1. After Farscape's cancellation, Ben Browder and Claudia Black were out of a job and both joined the cast of SG-1 in the later seasons. I haven't seen much of the show though, so I can't pass judgement on it.
Good point.TheGhostOfSin post=18.69868.674060 said:It's very likely because you paid to see the film...TheBadass post=18.69868.674047 said:Spiderman 3. I walked away from that film feeling so unsatified, and I just couldn't figure out why<...
