If the game's community is so shitty, then why play the game at all?

Because the game is fun?
Because they're having fun playing regardless of the community?
Because who cares what some anonymous idiots say over the internet?

I can go on but I think you get the message.

I don't know, it's why I stopped playing. It's a team based game, it's like playing football and having your entire team shouting obscenities at you or another player on your team the whole time. Why wouldn't that ruin the fun? And even worse, it's not just insults, people will actively let another player whom they don't like get fucked when they could have done something. How could you have fun playing a team game if everybody on your team is an asshole?

I want to get into DOTA 2 but I'm bad at dealing with people being mean over games so I'd probably just end up crying in a corner.

My boyfriend plays all of the time and I've seen him be a total arse to people. I don't think I could deal with him judging me. XD

Maybe myself and Gavin could be DotaBros.

We can even be Irish DotaBros.

We can fail together and I'd probably even make him look skilled by comparison.
