WoW. I really don't want to end up spending my life on an RPG.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to play minecraft.

Oh, and console games too, just because I won't ever likely own a console. I'd love to try the likes of "Shadow of the Colossus" but I guess it probably won't happen unless we see a PC port...

The entire Mass Effect trilogy. After the incident of an ending and ensuing corporate politics, I have absolutely no more interest in the games. My plan is that, should I ever change my mind, is to simply buy the first game and say that the Reapers never came because of Shepard and he gets to continue mind-banging Liara.

Possibly fighting games in general. The ironic thing is that Capcom fighters are what got my interest and now they're killing it.`

You should at least try 2, it took everything good about the first one, got rid of everything bad (especially the repetitiveness), and added more good things.

OT: At this rate, every PS3 exclusive, because by the time I have money we'll probably already be well into next gen and keeping a relatively up to date PC is a higher priority.

Bioshock 2? I absolutely HATED the first game . I finished it because i have this thing where when i stry a game i have to finish it .

Any halo . I played 3 ( my dad lent it to me ) played it on hardest difficulty , feel no need to play any other installments .

Assassins creed . Played the first , it bore me to tears . Not touching another one of those games .

I should probably mention a this point that i am mainly a rpg / fightig fame player ... So ... Yeah .
To be fair the third halo game (halo 3). probably had the worst campaign, it had some good co-op parts part the whole story and atmosphere felt lacking (try reach or halo 1 anniversarry, much better campaigns. and they are cheap to.)

KOTOR
Fallout 3
Skyrim
Any MMO ever made

For me KOTOR, I am the opposite to "Krazzykidd", I cannot stand most RPG or fighting games, with the rare exception (like mass effect, wich some people debate isn't a true RPG). I want to play KOTOR, I mean like it is said to have a great story and the graphics are actually alright for it's age (PC), but the gameplay is just so boring (imo). the dialogue also is not very good, the main charachter does not even speak (to be fair I only played 15mins and may pick it back up. I hated both mass effect and halo first time I played them and now they are two of my favourite games, so you never know but I doubt it. I prefer to be playing the game and interacting with the world than navigating inventory).

I am currently about 3 hours into dragon age origins and considering giving up, I just don't find the gameplay very interesting and the graphics don't create a convincing atmosphere.

I may give fallout 3 and skyrim another chance (I tried each one for about 4 hours, but just felt board soon after, it felt like nothing I did meant anything)

Games I tend to go for are RTS (like BFME2 and CAC3TW), FPS (Halo, Crysis, Mirrors edge), 3rd person shooter, indie, adventure games, simple puzzle games like Q.U.B.E and portal 2 (riven hurt my brain). although at the end of it's down to the individual game not the genre. I also love arcade racers like split second and burnout revenge (blur for splitsceen multiplayer)

Don't like MMO's, have the same problem with them as I do with a lot of RPG's, they feel like a grind, the combat is boring, and it all feels so pointless (I may look into TOR or the secret world, but I doubt I will like them).

World of Warcraft and most online games. Because my internet connection sucks and because multiplayer is simply not my thing.

Possibly Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate 2 and Fallout 2 because they're terribly dated. I've tried numerous time to get into them and just left them after having so many new good games to play instead. I still haven't lost hope though and enhanced special editions would help with me trying to play them again.

Elder Scrolls for me (all of em). Or any of Bethesda's RPGs really. I played and enjoyed Fallout 3 after I could get through the absolute SLOG of the opening levels, but I don't care to repeat the experience, since most of the games are same thing/different skin.

I agree about Assassin Creed 2. It's a really fun game and in no way as tedious as the first one. Also Ezio is a much better character in my opinion.

I'd tell you to try Mass Effect 2 and stop there. It has some fun and interesting quests, likeable characters and is in my opinion the best game of the trilogy.

Well, there's Heavy Rain and Journey, but that's just because they're not on 360.

I'm staying away from Bioshock because I've already read Ayn Rand.

I can't play Mass Effect anymore because character model's proportions are too distracting.

Any Rockstar game, I'm pretty much fundamentally opposed to.

Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, because Mass Effect 1 was such a complete and utter piece of shit that I completely lost all trust in BioWare after completing it.

The first game gave me all the Rapture that I needed. No more, no less.
I'll play the third game though.
It really is a good game(just not as good as the first one's story, mechanically it is better though). You should at least rent it.

Can't say I didn't expect it, but the amount of hipsters in this thread is too damn high.

Yeah, there's probably some techy reason it can't be on a console, but that doesn't stop me feeling sad I will never experience that festival of pants-shitting terror.
Coding for a console is indeed different to a PC. That's how we can end up with spectacular games on the original platform, and a horrific mess when ported to another.

Let us give thanks to the porters who give a shit about doing a good job.

OT: Console exclusives. I've got such a colossal backlog on Steam I won't be touching a console in a long time.

Unless it ever gets released on Steam or some other digital distributor, I'll never be able to enjoy Journey :-\ I don't have a PS3 and I have no intention or means of getting one at this point.

Um, any decent game by EA ever.
Because EA are a bunch of twats who I do not support, I was furious with myself when I bought Bulletstorm, not realising it was EA...

Other than that... well, I doubt I'll ever be playing Grim Fandango, but that's more due to limitations in availability and compatibility.
Which makes me unhappy.

Mass Effect. The first game never got a PS3 release, and with such a plot-centered game, I feel that it would just be dumb to start with ME2.

Also it's just never really interested me much.

Ummm,

Anything on Xbox/PS that is an exclusive, I was/am a Nintendo fanboy, won't deny it I had a very bad childhood and Nintendo/SNES were my first systems and they got me through dark days.

I never thought I'd like Skyrim, but I got it via Steam Sale, and got addicted to finishing the faction/main quests, that being said I will probably not screw around with it after I finish. Maybe to play Dawnguard if it comes out for PC.

Anything by Rockstar, have issues with them and playability.

WoW, I used to play MMOs, but I quit, I only do flash based non grinding ones[by that I mean, like energy based I can hit and quit for a few minutes a day but even then I gotta find people to play with that I can talk to.]

Borderlands 1+2, I played a demo for it on Onlive, I didn't like it, too empty of a world feeling, too blandish for me.

Starcraft 1, Diablos 1+2, don't really care, tried their sequels. Pretty much a WoWish clone and a Blizzard RTS staple, I know and kinda enjoy for single player[cause I suck at multi in them, cause I can't be bothered to micromanage, I'd like to get laid one day]

Fighting games, I played Soul Cal... something or other, I think the one on CGN, it was okay but it was too... eh, I broke it against computers, I'd button mash, get them to ledge and ring out throw.

Half Life series, don't know, kinda didn't appeal to me to be honest when I had the chance to get it.

Any future EA title exclusive to Origin, I enjoyed Origin at one point early on cause my CD drive was broken and they had a digital download for even hard copy games if you had the CD key, so that saved my butt during Freshman year of college.

Original Dues Ex, old graphics after a certain number of years actually bothers my eyes, I don't know why it just does.

Duke Nukem Forever, okay I know it was crappy, but it was going to be a top seller at first purely for the lulz.

Amnesia, cause I'm whimpy even in games, I have a heart defect so jump scares actually do screw with me so I can't play those, only watch others play them cause I can laugh that way.

Lollipop Chainsaw/Shadows of the Damned, I love Suda 51, played Killer 7 and the NMH series, I love his quirk and charm, heard he just relies on that with those two, but ehhh I'll never get a shot with them.

Gears of War series, tried the first, got it for like $12, stopped playing after the first level, just did not like it at all.

Any future MW, Battlefield game. I played the first two of MW, and BF3[purely to see the other side's view] But both are too samey and shooter checklists.

Any sports based game, I heard they sell well, but any game that gets sold at full price for a roster update and a few new tricks, does not a new game make.

Amnesia is like the last demanding game ever. It's -by no means- a graphical beast. Or even a little beast, like a meercat.

OT: Fallout. It just looks so increadibly boring. I know it's supposed to be a wasteland, but why would I want to play a game that's in a wasteland? Meh.
