Well as you probably already figured out with some researching, you have 'solid state' amps and tube amps. Very different, but it's mostly in the tube amps tend to be more versatile as in jumping from gritty to mellow (as in blues) depending on the volume and heat of the tubes in the amp.
For blues/classic rock, I would look for a small tube amp. They don't have much (hearable) clean, but have some nice dirt tones.
I would look for either a blackstar top with a 2x12 speaker cabinet

or something in that direction.
For mic's a very good one that can basically survive anything you put it through I would recommend a Shure sm58, not too great of a sound, but you don't have to worry about breaking one, because it's virtually impossible.
Also don't buy the brand, buy the amp. Go to some conventions, I can recommend the MusikMesse in Frankfurt seeing how you're from europe. You can buy so much stuff there that's so much better crafted than any mainstream gear you'll find anywhere.
