And, in a way, some of the rights movements including and not limited to certain extremist womens' rights and racial rights movements.

A lot of rights movements start out as legitimate fights against unfair discrimination, but they eventually devolve into pointless mudslinging. The examples you mentioned are dead on.

Also, I'll say what everyone else said and say communism's pretty much the epitome of great in theory, bad in practice.
