Good iOS shmups?

I'm going to be buying an iPhone next week and one of the major draws for me is that its the best mobile platform for gaming. I figured that SHMUPS might work well on iOS so I was just wondering if you know of any good ones that I should download? Thanks

they have GTA 3 and chinatown wars on there if you like those kind of shmups, and they have the 1st doom game and other gems of you look hard enough.

So is Deathsmiles. Fair warning: Both of those are incredibly hard.

I was really looking for games more like R-Type, Gradius, Thunderforce etc, but thanks anyway
