[HEADING=1]I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT CHARACTERS WHICH ARE BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP FOR SEX APPEAL. IF A CHARACTER LOOKS GOOD OR IS WEARING SOMETHING FANSERVICEY BUT IT STILL ACTUALLY WORKS AS AN OUTFIT, THEN GO AHEAD, BUT DON'T JUST LIST CHARACTERS FOR HOTNESS AND LACK OF CLOTHING ALONE.[/HEADING]

To those of you that don't think with your groins, I apologise for that massive text. I just wanted to nip that one in the bud before people started posting Bayonetta in a thong and saying "I'd hit that." Anyway...

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I want to get other people's opinions. Smiply put, like the title says, what characters do you think are well-designed in terms of look? How does their apperance tell you what you need to know about them while remaining generally good-looking in it's own right? Do their outfits work in the world around them? Feel free to post more then one character if you want. You can describe them as much or as little as you want, so long as you at least give a reason why you like the design.

I got two.

I've always liked the look of Raziel. You can tell he's undead right off the bat from the green skin and the thin body, but he's not really ugly or painful to look at. The cloak he uses as a cover for his missing jaw has a cool-looking and personally important symbol in it, being the mark of his dead clan. The bone claws and tattered wings show that even before his undeath he wasn't human. They also serve other purposes, with the claws being natural weapons and the wings serving as a cape and a symbol of what he's been through. The emblem on his cloak and the armour on his legs show that he one had high status, but the skeletal body structure and the wrappings on his arms show that he is far less then what he once was.

Lambda-11 is one of the Murakumo units, a series of cyborg clones that are used as living weapons. While the other Mrakumos have two apperances, a shawl for their normal state and armour for combat, Lambda only has a combat form. This tells us she is not as strong as the others, and she is expected to constantly be in battle. Her apperance is a recolour of the armour of another Murakumo, Nu-13, as Lambda is Nu's soul with a mindwipe and a different body. Her design is based around the concept of anthropomorphism of blades, echoed in the bladed hair decoration, her wings, and the armour on her arms and legs. The placement of her armour on her limbs and crotch but not her torso show that she is fairly frail, and since most of her armour is sharpend, it is expected to be used to attack the opponent rather then defend her. The unconnected wings and the bladed foot armour show that she uses antigravity technology to make herself and objects near her float.

I always thought all the characters in Oddworld were incredibly creative and well designed.
