although on the other hand it could be quite fun if you just went and did jobs as colin farrell's character... but then again it wouldnt be in bruges would it... or maby it would but the concept is still not the same..

The Breakfast Club.

Pretty much all movies that aren't action-packed would make crappy games.

A Walk in the Clouds

Or perhaps they can add a DLC upgrade to any of The Matrix games to allow for other Keanu movies to be played as games.

The Big Lebowski. If they made a game it would end up being an adventure game where you make zero progress with an added bowling minigame. That is the best case scenario.

Any of the Monty Pyton Movies, too random and sketch based to make any kind of coherant game.
Actually, they did. Unsurprisingly enough, you were right. Even though the game followed the plot of the movie it was still pretty damn random and generally weird.
Hmm...

It says that that was the second of three. What were the others?
Life of Brian?
The Meaning of Life? Now that would make a weird game.
I remember reading a review AGES ago (10 years ago, something like that). It was a Monty Python point and click game, based on The Meaning Of Life. That's all I can remember (except a screenshot of John Cleese dressed as a waiter, holding several platters, as a puzzle)
One of them's Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time, which used a variety of clips from various Monty Python sketches. There is an objective and an ending to work through to in there somewhere, but I never did work out how to get it.

I have, however, completed Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. I certainly don't think "coherent" was what they were going for - it's more of a collection of stages in which you have to try to work out what the hell you're supposed to be doing, and a few extra minigames.

No idea about the third... Or possibly the first, but I think Complete Waste of Time was first.

Killer Clowns From outer Space. Remember: "YOU GOTTA SHOOT 'EM IN THE NOSE!!!"
That sounds like a Half-Life mod a bunch of teenagers who just figured out how to compile a map would try to make.
hahahaha Ceheck this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Dns3RKkgko
Oh yeah, I'm very familiar with this flick. It's my cousin Davids favorite movie and I have it on DVD. :p

I love the theme music from it though.

Oh, I've got more bad movie-to-game ideas:

Brotherhood of Blood
Dance of the Dead
Outland - (Especially if we could get Sean Connery to do the voice acting!)
Time BanditsBorn in East L.A.
Midnight Cowboy
Rain Man
Trainspotting

Cloverfield.
I think that would've made a great game, even an MMO- grab a gun and try to escape the city while encountering parasites and the monster itself. Kind of like Gears of War but with less firing and waaaaay less testosterone.

Also, The Grapes of Wrath.

"You're poor!"
"Oh.."
"Now PUSH THAT TRUCK!"

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Phonebooth (for obvious reasons)
The Green Mile

Three top notch films, but not much room for gameplay

Actually that could have some potential as a spin-off game, like you would be a nameless character that gets Winston's apartment once he is killed and through a series of letters(not mentioned in the book mind you) you discover the resistance force and lead sabotage missions against Oceania. Maybe with a sequel or later game in the series, an open revolution could take place with you as a commando.

have any games along those lines been made?? now i am really curious

Sleepy Hollow. I suppose there is a tiny chance it could be a great game, but the most likely thing is that they'd try to add in a bunch of action bits where they didn't belong and it would wind up being terrible.

Shawshank Redemption.
This, the movie is my favourite of all time and it's as close as perfect i've ever seen in a movie, but it would Not be a fun game to play...
