Well, I just(as in today) fixed my NES all by myself. After eight years of being broken, I'm ready to catch up on some gaming goodness.

I'm looking to the Escapists to recommended to me some games worth buying. Right now, my library consists of: Kirby, Super Mario Bros. Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters I/II and Kung-Fu.

You don't need to tell me any of the big NES games, I plan on getting those. Obscure gems are what I'm looking for.

Ninja Gaiden and Battletoads. And after you are done crying, try finding Earthbound, it's fantastic. My friend had the original in box whole set... and his mother threw it out /wrists

Those were the SNES, not the NES. Except for the Final Fantasies, I don't know which 3 you are talking about (FF3 in Japan is FF6 here.)

OT: Earthbound is AMAZING if you can find it, and Battletoads is fun, but somewhat hard. Also, Contra is incredibly fun, and slightly challenging.
