There's a DS game that doesn't use the touch screen? I was sure all the DS games used it at least slightly.
But its' touchscreen use is so minimal I forgot to mention it.not a zaar said:That game is unbeatable without using the touchscreen.TheGreenManalishi said:Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Not what Castlevania used to be, but a damn good action platformer with RPG elements.
No, there are plenty that don't require the touchscreen. Some of them do use it for small features, like Poffin-making in Pokemon.Hamster at Dawn said:There's a DS game that doesn't use the touch screen? I was sure all the DS games used it at least slightly.
haha ahh the gold old days of blue and red i miss themDatsle said:Pokemon Platinum,
im nearly 20- and though "Hell, the last time i tried Pokemon was Blue on the gameboy, so what the hell"
I underestimated the game as an RPG, now i've got 50+ hours and climbing, and i do not play any of my other DS games. Im a big FF fan, but i find Pokèmon to be MUCH more entertaining.
EDIT* saw you'r new post, then id have to say New Super Mario Bros, or Mario Kart.
You lose lots of options if you don't enjoy turn based.

The fact that only one of you pointed out N+ surprises me.Peach_hat said:This.dudeigoesrawrs said:Pokemons!
Shouldn't really need to be said though, so I'll go with N+.
Madical funsies.
ya but touchscreen parts are so fast that they make you use your finger anywaynot a zaar said:That game is unbeatable without using the touchscreen.TheGreenManalishi said:Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Not what Castlevania used to be, but a damn good action platformer with RPG elements.
I recommend Henry Hatsworth. It's an action platformer with a puzzler tacked on, and can be easily played using only the face buttons.
This and Mario Kart are good non stylus ones. Seriously I think stylus are like $2 at Target and Gamestop.BwdYeti said:Bleach DS is a good one. Surprisingly good portable fighting game by Treasure, only uses the touchscreen as shortcuts for moves which you'd be better served pressing with your thumb instead of the stylus, or just inputting manually.

Seriously tho, i AM a big final fantasy fan, and not a pokemon fan at all, so if you'r tempted to get Platinum, id surely reccomend it over FF3 and FF4 (Played both till' the end) Not saying they are bad games, i just enjoy Platinum to a whole other level.![]()
