Good old-fashioned Hangman

I searched the board and didn't find any games of Hangman so I thought I'd start one...

We have to use strikes because the ascii doesn't work.
"|" denotes a space.

The rules are pretty simple:
There are only 6 strikes per puzzle.
Only one letter/guess per time you post.
The person who created the word is in charge of updating the puzzle.
The first person to correctly guess the word gets to make the new puzzle.
Giving a hint would be appreciated, but it's not necessary.
