Well, take heart. This is the first time they've pulled something like this and judging by the backlash I think it will be the last. A good sign of that is their the monk style mea culpa they're pulling right now. They know they screwed up.
unless they were just trolling everyone and made the video to laugh at the ragers

The latter,nothing would stop you from getting the installer before anything happened as a back-up DRM free remember? they were just hating cause of the approach...Haters gonna Hate

While not a form of marketing I'd approve of (creating the false impression that supply is more unstable/rare than is the case and all), it did in fact work on me since I'd been meaning to get Might & Magic 6 for a time from there, and it has spurred me into doing so. If I hadn't had a pre-existing interest, and this place wasn't the only one digitally distributing it (old physical copy won't install on Vista), I doubt it would have had any positive influence though.

That said, the site does appear very user friendly.

I totally missed this 'event' or whatever. XD So I would say it was a failure to have even bothered. I came back and saw a redesigned site. HOORAY! But yeah.. they need fucking System Shock 2 on here goddammit!
