Today i found my old collection of Pokemon figures. I remembered how much fun my sister and i had when we played with them before. I had a great time just sitting there and thinking back to when i was nine years old.

Have you had any moments lately where you sat down and remembered when you where younger?

Yea, reminiscing with my friend about how when we were kids we never left her pool until it was dark or winter came. I was in the best shape of my life, back then.

I don't remember much of my childhood, and it really sucks. Most of the memories are bad ones, so I try to just look towards the future.

However, so as to remain somewhat on topic, Lunchables remind me of a pleasant childhood. I've had a few recently, and I feel like a kid again when I eat them. Especially at uni.

I looked through my Pokemon cards collection.

Man, those contain some good memories.
I also have like 55 Sandshrew...
Ah, sweet memories.

I actually have the Japanese naked 'Misty Tears' card (not that really graphic). Of course back then I had no idea how much its worth. I still get requests.

Every couple years or so I get a strange craving and go dig out my collection of G1 Transformers toys, then try to remember how to change all of them back and forth (or in the case of the gestalts, how to make the combined super-robot form out of them).

I don't really tend to reminisce about the past, I do remember random events really clearly though, climbing stairs, picking up a pencil...

It's quite odd, especially when I always forget to do my math homework.

Looking through photos of me as a drunk sixteen year old in the pub with some of my mates before my mate Joe got us banned, not for being underage, but for fecking a pint glass across the courtyard. Good times.

unfortunately true. a teenager and i struck up a conversation. he was bitching about how video games of today dont match stuff like Call of Duty 2 or 3, or Big Red One, or whatever the hell else. He went on to say how bad kid's toys are. apparently, somehting called bakugon or something is out, and its a game where you shoot marbles at each other. (found out the price on one is like 15 bucks. 15 BUCKS TO SHOOT A MARBLE?! but i digress) he said how he loved yugioh as a kid. First I told him how super mario was revolutionary, second how the only card game that isnt actual cards that i would play is Magic (surprise! he didnt know what that was) and that Pogs were the best thing on the planet. when he asked what a pog was, i told him that i weep for his generation, and all of them after it.

It's really weird, a mere difference of five years and the kids today have no clue about what we were raised with. I think the internet taking off in the mid nineties had something to do with it. We were there during the birth of the web, they got to an age with it already established.
