i like to listen to podcasts and im curretnly running low/ just obsessively listen to them. any suggestions? also if you want any suggestions from me, or to get a feel for what i like. i listen to the Best Damn Podcast Ever. its probably my favorite and is so damn funny that it gives yahtzee competition. also i like the video games show and video games outsiders. other non gmaing podcast i like are this american life and car talk. also cranky geeks and geek brief.

so any suggestions? and i suggest you check out BDPE and some of the others as well

ummm it's a bit nsfw but dan savage's savagelovecast is pretty good, just have to have a bit of an open mind and not be grossed out by things, but i do warn you there's a lot of nsfw stuff in it

if you're an mma fan i'd say listening to showdown joe's show, i like it better than the sherdog one, it's actually his radio show put on the net.

The BS Report by Bill Simmons is the best sports podcast ever:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/archive?id=2864045

He used to write for Jimmy Kimmel, and he's had his own column on ESPN since forever. Despite the fact he's a goddamn Boston fan, it's a great listen.

The only podcast where I try to catch every episode is This American Life [http://www.thislife.org/], a public radio show out of Chicago. It's hard to categorize what it is, but you'll either think it's brilliant, or you just won't get it and won't like it at all. If you do like it, you won't be able to stop listening.

I also like Major Nelson's Xbox Live [http://majornelson.com/] podcast - he tends to get a very interesting variety of game developers and internal Microsoft staff, which can be very informative. Your results may vary, depending on how much you like the Xbox.

Penny Arcade also has a podcast, Downloadable Content [http://feeds.penny-arcade.com/padlc], that I listen to occasionally, but I find it spotty. Their words have more impact when they have time to refine them for publish on the web or in the comic, and I think the podcast (since it's not a highly produced 'show') often shows the difference.

The PC Gamer UK podcast is a laugh-a-minute exploration into the minds of a few writers?

GamersDaily used to be the best independent gaming podcast ever before dying in Jan 06, but was recently resurrected as a video review/blog site, but still rocks! Half of their episodes are available on iTunes, while the other half can be found in archives strown across the net.

Another excellent gaming podcast is Gaming Steve at http://www.gamingsteve.com . He's an indie game developer that gives out very in-depth analyses of the game industry in general, as well as equally detailed reviews and interviews to boot. Definitely worth a listen if you can stomach the long lengths of each episode (anywhere from 1 to 2 hours).

I'm sure you can though, because you listen to VG Outsiders, and you know how long those are. ;)
