So i'm running out of good Split-screen games to play with my mates on the Xbox 360 so i thought i would post to see if you guys had any suggestions, preferably not Racing, Lego or Fighting games.

So far i have these Split-screen games:

Halo (All of them).
Fable 2 + 3.
Borderlands (pre-ordered the 2nd already).
Dungeon Siege 3.
Fear 3.
Army of 2: 40th day.
MX vs ATV (Various ones).
Need For Speed (Various ones).
Lost Planet 1 + 2.
Lego Star Wars (All 3).
Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes.

Cheers in advance.

If you want to go old-school, Return of the King has some pretty badass coop gameplay. Same for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Star Wars: Battlefront II. Chaos Theory is available for purchase and download on Xbox LIVE, don't know about the others.

There's Portal 2 of course. And Left 4 Dead and the sequel.

Castle Crashers is a fun Xbox LIVE Arcade title. I'm pretty sure Trine 2 has splitscreen but you should check.

My friend is having a similar problem, less and less games are going splitscreen nowadays. I suggested he try Splinter Cell Conviction, it's both a great game and pretty different.

Well if you can find the game cheap I'd say codern warfare 3's spec ops mode would fit your bill nicely, was great fun in splitscreen.

Otherwise Left 4 Dead 2 is a good idea for splitscreen joys. You can pick up Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing cheap enough and that's pretty fun in splitscreen too.

Gears of War campaign was good fun co-op, but I see that's already been suggested.

If Bulletstorm is to your taste, that's got an alright splitscreen mode as well!

Got gears of war 1 + 2, completely forgot i had them and that they were co-op/split-screen so will check them out (Haven't really played them).

I've looked at castle-crasher before and have been putting it on my backlog for awhile, is it worth the 1200 points, because thats a good $20 or so.

Got a copy of L4D2 completely forgot about that game and Portal 2 is still a good $30 where i am, and seeing as i have it on PC for $5 im not willing to pay that much.

Wasn't aware that bulletstorm was co-op, i have a copy laying around and i didn't mind it to much so will check that out aswell.

I have a copy of Battlefront 2 + Return of the king with a dozen other split-screen games, trying to look for some more updated ones in the past 5 years or so that we could play as we have played alot of PS2 games over the years.

Never played a splinter cell game so will have to look into that series, and me and my friends aren't big fans on the cod series (i like the first 3 when they were WW2).

Thanks for the replies guys really appreciate it, i hate how online games now don't offer split-screen like halo-online does, i love how i can have me and 3 mates play online on 1 tv/xbox against 4 other people, it's so hard to find games that are co-op/split-screen and are not fighter games, racing games or lego games.

Well there's Minecraft anyway. Oh and the Viva Pinata games. And even though you have said preferably not them, I would recommend the Lego Batman games at least.

South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play.

If that's your thing, I certainly enjoyed it co-op anyway.

and Nazi Zombies goes without saying, but I suppose that's more of a short-form thing, plus to get the awesome maps y'd have to download a whole bunch of maps packs yer probably not going to use and okay this is no longer a recommendation.

I remember enjoying terrorist hunt on Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2 (but it's been a while)

also, second/third/fourth/whatever Portal 2, although the co-op is fairly short.

I have minecraft on my PC don't feel like paying $20 to play it once every couple week for an hour with a mate over, if it was on sale for like $5-10 i would justify it.

Nazi Zombies, thats CoD right? Well i wouln't buy a game i wont enjoy just for a side-game kinda thing,
and Fear 3 has a similar side-game kind of thing to Nazi Zombies, where a few of you defend against these waves of zombies and inbetween rounds you scavange for ammo/new weapons and repair window and door blockades.

I'd suggest EDF Insect Armageddon for mindless shooty fun, and Splinter Cell Conviction for practice with mock Jack Bauer voice.

and get Castle Crashers you fool! It's great :D

I'll repeat PieBrotherTB when he mentions "Rainbow Six: Vegas 2".
That was a damn fun game, co-op online or split screen.
And it has a feth-load of customisation. Lots of guns, armour, etc, to choose from.
And, of course, level up and you unlock a lot more.
I'll need to play that again when I get back home it a week, I tend to enjoy it more than any of the Call of Duty games online.
Perhaps barring 3, one of my first games on XBL. That was a barrel of fun.

Yes! Chaos Theory! Chaos Theory is one of my favorite co-op games of all time!

OP needs to check it out. So many laughs to be had in this game.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has a cracking splitscreen campaign, as well as the splitscreen Terrorist Hunt mode.

CoD:MW3 has splitscreen for Spec Ops missions (co-op game maps), Survival and Chaos Survival modes (wave defence against armed AI, like Halo's Firefight) and the obligatory 4 player deathmatch games (offline only though, online it's only 2 player).

Portal 2 as other have said.

I may come back with more once I get home and can check my library.
