Good SRPGs

See title. I am looking for a few good Strategy Role Playing games to pass the time.

Please note that I have played and enjoyed:
Final Fantasy Tactics
Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced
Fire Emblem

So what are some other good SRPGs?

I've been hearing lots of love for King's Bounty: The Legend recently. Haven't tried it myself yet though.

Super Robot Taisen series on the GBA.
Tactics Ogre for the GBA or PS1 (different games, but supposedly both good. I've only played the GBA one.)

Also one quick question, did you want strategy RPGs that focus around an army or can they just focus on one character?

I have not played any SRPGs that focus on a single character. I might try it out though.

Front Mission 3 was also a good game. Though its reward system is a bit busted (nothing really debilitating, only if you're a sucker for perfect ratings for each mission).

Advanced Wars and Fire Emblem are the best that come to mind.

Oh, I completely forgot to mention Advanced Wars. Only played the first two GBA games. Don't own a DS yet so I can't play the most recent one.

If you like quirky Japanese games (and the SRPG genre qualifies), you can't go wrong with a company that basically translates to "Japanese" (Nippon Ichi).

Consider also Fallout 1 and 2, which certainly aren't Japanese SRPGs by any stretch but which incorporate many of the same elements (not Fallout 3, which is the bastard child of Oblivion and Half-Life.) If you really want to get into tile-based strategy gaming Western style, you might even want to consider getting your hands on the old SSI Five-Star Series wargames.

Jagged Alliance 1&2, Battle for Wesnoth (Open Source, a lot of fun), Fallout Tactics...there are probably others. Those are all for PC.

Alright well if you've got a PS2, go get Persona 3, so that you'll be anticipating Persona 4 in December.

Valkyria Chronicles

Is this pretty good? Maybe I'll have to check it out. Whenever I can put L4D down.

I actually just looked into Valkyria Chronicles. Wow. I might have to get a PS3 just for that game.

For now, though, I will probably get Disgaea and some of the other NIS PS2 games. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Tactics ogre. It's an old GBA game, but boy is it great.
