Has the idea of something in a game been really interesting, but the way that was portrayed just made it suck?
For instance, I bought Kane and Lynch (only $10, hell yea!) after playing the demo on XBL, and liked the first half of the game. The multiplayer concept in the game, to me, was an amazing concept. For those of you that don't know, it went like this:
You and a group of 3-5 others all took part in a heist. You would rob pedestrians of their money, empty the cash registers in a diner, or steal jewels from a jewelery store, and try to escape. All the while being shot at by police officers. You could shoot back, AND you could target your team mates, and take their share of the loot, or you could get everyone to escape and split the combined total of the loot between all of you.
To me, this was a great idea, and was surprisingly fun, when I could get more than 1 other person to join a lobby, and actually spoke a language that I could understand. That's the downside, though. Hardly anyone played it and the controls were horrible.
Thoughts?
