Today the last shuttle mission launched at Kennedy Space Center. I am so sad there will be no more shuttle launches. I have always loved NASA and am sad they are basically shutting down. No more Shuttle program. (i am not sure about all the stuff that is happening with NASA's budget being cut, and I know that the USA needs to put its money elsewhere. We had a program that was going to have a moon base by 2014 and a MARS BASE BY 2020! Sadly it was all cut. oh well, I have and always will love space exploration. I just wish that their budget was not basically cut to the point where they only have the money to hire a janitor to keep the launch pad clean.
Movie Bob did an episode on this also

sorry, I don't know how to embed videos.
It's very big news, with the space shuttles being discontinued, and the ARES rocket being canceled, but could you please close your parenthesis? I honestly can't tell where it's supposed to stop, and when that happens, I just skim until the paragraph ends. Then I usually become angry because I don't know what I'm supposed to be commenting on.

I'm an advocate for lower government spending, but this is the one thing I really do think the government needs to pour money into like there's no tomorrow... because who knows, without this program, there might not be one for the human race.

<spoiler=also off topic>First off, I could get into how technically money doesn't exist, it's just a promise of payment that is now accepted as the form of currency, so it technically is nonexistent as it's just representative money.

Secondly, I'm not American so I don't really care too much of the debt or know any more than the next guy that did next to know research about it, so I'm sort of clueless in that regard. I get all my information from what little news stories I watch (it's not Fox so most of it is okay).

Lastly, how many languages do you know? The way you said that makes me curious and gives me the impression it is either 1 or 10, something really low or really high.
It appears we share more or less the same opinion... And to think we were almost at each others throats :p

I speak Russian, Greek and English. Those may not be that many languages, but listen to this: I live in Greece and occasionally visit Russia. Now, imagine that I always hear about DEBT from almost everyone in Greece (honestly, this country has become synonymous with it), read about it on the internet in English and hear about it on TV in Russia. DEBTS EVERYWHERE!

I think I was too hasty in my judging of you, but now I think I can accurately put you as one of my top friends on facebook. Well, maybe not that far, but close enough.

<spoiler=Off topic - off topic mini topic we created that is technically more on topic than the original topic>I only speak English, and I consider anything over 2 languages a lot (it's easy to be bilingual (well, since I'm not, I wouldn't say easy, but it's not uncommon let's say)). I actually hear about it quite often as well. Being Canadian means I'm close to the states so we hear about it a lot. Being this close, road trips to the states are common, and if you know anyone that has taken a road trip there, they will mention the conversion rate for the dollar, and when it comes up that our dollar is currently higher, they start to talk about the debt. If you're ever in Canada and someone says they took a road trip to the states, either punch them in the face, or shit on the floor. ANYTHING to avoid talking about the debt.
