Is it any good? Is it good security wise like Firefox or is it all flash and no substance?

It's pretty fast, what I like about it is that it's so simple and user friendly. As opposed to Firefox which just feels cluttered and annoying. Try it out, it may look weird, but the ease of use will make you love it. I'm using it right now.

It's my default browser. I love it. It's interface is simple and quick, the SPEED is beyond anything I've ever had, it loads pages faster and uses less resources. And resources isn't even an issue on my performance build PC.

And about fluffybacon's comment...

Rendering standard? I didn't know Google was a video and 3D design program... it looks fine, streamlined, and it has all the things you need, none of those crappy cluttered addons.

It's okay. Better than IE, not as good as Firefox. I just love Firefox for all of the add-ons and the massive amount of security features it offers me. Chrome is safe, but not quite as safe as Firefox.

Chrome is great for the reasons that Furburt gave, but in my case I had to reload all pages I visited (sometimes more than once), and it got annoying fast. Now I'm back to Firefox.

How much does it try to integrate itself into your os? (I remember having to clean some "google toolbar/taskbar" thing from a box I was repairing once, it hogged the ram.)

Chrome is great. Fast like, orbital escape velocity fast. If you just want to go places fast and easy its the best. I've sat down with friends, we benchmarked it on 4 different computers, against pretty much all the other browsers, and it's faster than all of them.

I used it for a while when I was having problems with Firefox. It was fine, functional for what I needed and certainly a lot better than Internet Explorer, but I was still glad to go back to Firefox once I got the problem sorted.

I dunno, maybe I'm just stuck in my ways.

I like it. I don't care about customization, I like the whole "No address scroll down bar" thing.

Its easy, fast, and is better than Internet Explorer.

If you prefer not using as many plug-ins and just surfing with multiple tabs, Chrome is the way to go. It also doesn't rape your CPU usage like Firefox does.

I love it because it's so simple looking. It doesn't have any plug-ins so if you care about those then you're better off with FireFox but it's fast and easy to use.

It is really fast. It's good software but I still prefer fox more. I "did" get an addon for firefox to run my address bar like chrome's though.

It's ok, definitely better than IE. Though it did feel slower to me when compared to firefox.

From what I've seen it fits somewhere between firefox and opera in terms of how it runs (in terms of customizing it, speed etc).

It's faster than Firefox, but not as secure. I have good spyware/virus protection though, so I go with Chrome. I honestly don't give a shit about the addons of Firefox. If anything, it just makes the browser too cluttered.
