I am in Australia, and our Internet sucks.
A few days ago, I sent an email inquiry to Google Fiber stating;
"Can you guys come to Australia sometime this year? Our ISPs both suck and
blow. The Government's NBN has all but fallen apart. We need someone to
show them how to do it right.
Please?"
To be honest, it was half serious, and I expected the boilerplate "Thank you for interest, no plans, etc". Instead I got 2 emails (1 the standard acknowledgement of receipt) the other, was kinda the same.
So two responses, and neither a flat No. Maybe they are saving it for the third? Who knows. But I do intend to make every effort to get them to at least considering looking to Australia as a market ripe for the picking.
