We all know that a lot of threads keep repeating themselves, such as the 'best band' and 'most badass weapon' threads. This seems to annoy a whole lot of people and the most common reply is something like "I searched the forums and nothing came up".
Going by that it's apparent that the search engine for this site isn't the best so here's my solution. Use Google.
For example if I wanted to search the forums for a jokes thread I would type this into Google.
jokes site:escapistmagazine.com/forums
So basically type whatever you want to search for before 'site:escapistmagazine.com/forums' and it will search The Escapist Forums. I realise some would already know this method but figured I'd post in case people don't.
