Google social network

So has anyone got onto this new social network. i hear its by invite only.

Just wondering how it stacks up to facebook.

Anyone have an invite for me?

It is in the beta so right now it is the same way Gmail started. From what I understand they are maxed out. I recommend taking the tour. I was fairly impressed with what little I saw.

I have an account, friend who works for google got me an invite ^^ in beta right now, but it looks like it'll be awesome.

Looked up the Tour on youtube and was disturbed to see this as the highest rated comment:

Google+ should have an option where you give them your facebook login, and it automatically gets your photos, and interests...

I am amazed so many people want google to have all of their passwords.

Anywho, it looks interesting but I barely use Facebook as it is so I don't really see the need for another social service.

I received an invite today, and I like the interface a lot. It's clean and simple, no advertising whatsoever. Right now, of course, no one I know is on it, so its use is somewhat limited, but it looks promising if it isn't another Google Wave.
