Given that I accidentally double posted I have instead chosed to redo the title and subject of this post. Simply put the most gory game you've ever played? The game's industry right now loves gore and therefore gore is very widespread, so I ask you what is the goriest game you've ever played?
For me this goes to Gears of War.

(p.s this thread is a lot less elaborate than usual, the reason I had to come up with this topic on the spot to fix up the double post.)

Shadow of Rome.
God of War is fantastically aggressive & violent but due to it's fantasy setting, it gets pwnd in the gorenography stakes by Shadow of Rome. Chopping someone in half never gets old.

Fallout 3. It lacks the blood necessary to compliment its psychotic levels of gore, but that is just because no graphics card on earth could handle that much blood being rendered all at once.

I was really shocked the first time I played RE4 and found that woman impaled through her face with a pitchfork in that shack fairly early in the game. I proceeded very slowly after that.

No More Heroes for the Wii. In order to kill someone you have to split them in half or cut off their heads. And this game has a hot chick in it :3

It'd come down to either Deadspace (all the limb severing physics made the gore quite interactive) or Clive Barker's Jericho (considering that Barker, a splatterpunk author himself was behind it, it should be little surprise that the game revels in gore). Dead Rising wasn't particularly light on gore either.

Gotta be Dead Space.

The death animations in that game are so twisted, and you rarely see anyone with a full set of limbs.

Some of the ways Isaac sees the surviving crew members die are truly disturbing too.

Yeah and lest we forget every single monster in the game is itself a walking twisted monstrosity of gore and disfigurment.

Conan for the 360. Haven't Played GoW because I don't have a PS2
Gears of War is not on ps2
Psst!

I think he means God of War.

Easy mistake to make though, since God of war is a pretty lacklustre game that very few people play, let alone enjoy.

Okay, so I might just be saying this because Indigo Dingo is present.

Assassin's Creed!!! Assassin's Creed 2....Can't wait to get my hands on it!!
Assasins Creed wasn't that gory. Though some scenes in that game made me cringe big time (those who have played the game and seen the 'insane asylum' cinematic will know what I mean)
