i play text based games, there are quite a buch of good ones if you know where to look.

anywhay, the goriest game?? in Resident Evil 2 if a Zombi got you and you pushed him away his arm would get stuck with you, in RE3 Nemesis Skull fucks a guy when you approach the police station... yeah, that series were Gorie by the standards of that era

Hmmm, the first one I played that was gory that I can remember was Rise of the Triad.

And that silly Barbarian game on C64(played it on a Amiga 500).

probably not the goriest game i have ever played but some of the executions in Godfather 2 were seriously brutal (in a good way)

Condemned 1 & 2 are both pretty violent

A couple of years ago they made a Conan game (not the MMO) that was pretty brutal. You know, in that good way.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was pretty violent. But it wasn't really that BLARGH-ish.

Shadow of Rome was nice and gory. While God of War is just so OTT it was superb.

MadWorld is more silly gore but it is still the goriest.
