For a long time, I had the high score in an old Vampire Nights cabinet in our local bowlplex, got from going through the entire game on a single continue.

I still use this story as proof that Vampire Nights is easier than House of the Dead.

I didnt see it as harsh at the time, And it kept me modest. But the more i think about it, You're probably right.

Well... I was once, for a short period, at position #387 of the UT world rank, then I fell back to the usual 900-1000 position. Then... I stopped playing it.

Also I was 13th in the Hungarian Quake League, back in 1997 (Quake I, note).

Nothing else...

Ya your not even the best at being YOU, cause sure enough somebody out there is be a better YOU than YOU could ever be.

But if they were better than you then their wualities wouldn't be your qualities, they would be better than yours but not actually your own. Therfore noone can be a better you than you.

Best I've got was 200 at Red Alert 3 for a while. Not bad considered I just ignored strategies and did what ever I felt like, but I do has this inkling that the ranking system wasn't quite up to scratch.
