Completely missed HK-47 the first time I looked at this, just seemed like he blended into the background. Also missed KOS-MOS entirely, just because she looks more like, I dunno, maybe a girl that should be in Starcraft Ghost. To be fair though, the only times I've seen her in games have been when she's been heavily anime styled (huge eyes, etc.). A lot of the others, well, I just didn't play the games they came from, and they were either minor characters, or just different enough that it threw me off. Still an awesome picture though, would love to see another one including some other big characters, maybe toss in a Big Daddy and Frank West.
many of the characters on that painting do not deserve it as much a other one would.
the dude from heavy rain, professor Layton, commander Shepard, John Marston, Alyx Vance, Ezio Auditorie, Nathan Drake, the bully guy, the captain...cant recall his name, Kratos, and isn't that the dude from the witcher? ooh and mostly forgot the illusive man.

The definition of influential is rather poor if you look at some of the choices. I mean wheres the Duke? Ok, it was a bad influence, yet everyone was talking about it and it made an example of how not to do it. And how can any character from Red Dead be good when theres already 2 guys from GTA? Same sh*t, different timezone. Or why Sheppard? I agree that the illusive man should be there, but what did Sheppard actually do to deserve the spot?

I could get a lot of them... but some people (like the Boss) looked really different. I wish that painting was for sale.
i got a few, but some just look too different (tommy vercetti for instance, and i just wasn't expecting others. i mean... illusive man as an icon for gaming as a whole? i'd sooner have put gordon freeman there... and why isn't kane on there? it's still an awesome pic though 
I disagree heavily. The Illusive man, Nathan drake, John Marston, that guy from Dragon Age should not be in there. Don't get me wrong, they are fine games but they hardly define the last decade. Though Kratos and Glados were definetly good choices.
I would think James from Silent Hill 2 should be in there, or Pyramid Head but not both. I think in general, one character per game unless the story is actually about both of them, for example; Kane & Lynch. Also, I might have chose a Big Daddy w/ Little Sister instead of Atlas.

lol I was staring through the picture thinking where the hell is Andrew Ryan? He should be here! Then he was pointed out in the second one. I like that he's in shadows but I feel like he should be more prominent.
I got very few of them...I've played very few of the games present...Still a good painting.
However, Arthas should most certainly have been in there. I may have even included someone from SC2 (Going with the theme, it'd have to be someone not in SC1, released before 2000, which is a shame because Kerrigan in either form would be an excellent addition to the picture).

Incredible picture I admit. But I don't see why Loghain would be there. Maybe just to represent Dragon Age itself, but that could've been pulled off better ( Duncan, for example, many others ).
Oh and btw, I thought Cpt. Price was some random fisherman.

Yes, where the hell is Kane?! Kane lives in death! etc and so forth.
