GOW 3 weapon ideas?

yes, i know ive made quite a few GOW 3 threads over the last 2 weeks, but anyways.


as we know, Kratos needs big mad weapons to do his job. and as far as i can think, he wont have the blades of athena, as he killed her. also, the gods have lots of cool weapons, so there is quite a few possible weapons?

he will probably have some new "blades of ..." but ill probably think either Blades of Gaia or Blades of Atlas.
the Sword of Olympus, of course.
maybe Poseidons Trident. which could shoot ice blasts at the max level.
Helios´ head was confirmed by david jaffe to be a weapon too.


so, i would like to hear your ideas. it isnt that hard, theres still a crapload of mythic creatures. ill make a list, so you can think of something from them:


Ladon, the dragon that guarded the real Golden Fleece.
the Manticore.
The Nemian Lion.
The Minotaur of Crete (the first 1)
the stymphalian bird(s)
the golden deer of artemis. maybe chase it down by doing quick-time events.
Carybdis and Scylla. at the same time. as they always appear like that.
Chiron.
a huge Griffin?
a giant serpent?
Talos.
Chirke.

there could be a crapload of possibilities from those. and that is not all of them.

I'd say Prometheus's chains used as a flail or something, but they used him up in the second game.

The Pelian Spear. Kratos hasn't fought Achilles already has he? What could be a MORE badass battle then that?!

A gun that shoots rainbows and turns walls into rainbows, it would be a nice change of pace in terms of color.

Also instead of a chainsaw it has a kitten.

The Pelian Spear. Kratos hasn't fought Achilles already has he? What could be a MORE badass battle then that?!

good ideas, the aegis was in COO tho. together with the gauntlet of zeus. and most of the time zeus let athena use it, as he would never himself.

and prometheus was in nr. 1 or 2 i think. but his chains maybe.

Those were initially the chains of Hades...he's still kicking, and those things are damn powerful...

We've also got confirmations of the lion-head Cestus and a fire bow that actually sets enemies on fire (which spreads like in BZB), although that may be the functional application of Helios's head.

Now, lets see, so far he has the Trident of Poseion (he's still got the thing since the first one, thats why he can swim), he's destroyed the Cap of Hades and used Zeus's lightning bolts, he's killed both Hermes and Helios b the time the trailer details, and yet is still not at the peak...

I also think it's unlikely Kratos will have any animals to help him, as he's likely to then just kill them.

The Apple of Discord might be a nice weapon if done correctly. Having the skeleton zombies attacking a centaur as one would be pretty cool.

the apple should make monsters fight each other.

maybe the beak of a Stymphalian bird on a spear instead of iron. or the axe of the first minotaur.

the spear would be awesome.

and the axe would be the new barbarian hammer
