Well, folks. It seems that the notorious Horse Armour from Oblivion has found a successor. Coming in at a mere 3600 MS points.

Heres a vid about the skins in action.:

Personally, I wouldn't buy them. But people can buy whatever the hell they want. It's thier money.

Your thoughts?

Reminds me of the shortcut stuff for bad company 2. More insanely overpriced though

Saw that and immediately thought it was lame.

I despise Day 1 DLC because it is something that could have and one point probably was going to be included in the game.

Want an excellent model for DLC? Borderlands. 4 expansions spaced over time and content for avatars.

If people want to get rid of their money, who am I to tell them off, or tell off Epic Games for providing an entirely optional and completely non game changing service to afore-mentioned people who want to berid themselves of money.

I got 400 free Microsoft Points when I bought it from Game. So I bought the rainbow skin.

Oh my god...i'm speechless...my brain...can't compute the level...stupidity...on display here...

Ahhh phew, that's passed. This is just....ahhh....errr....

I'm staggered. I'm appauled. I'm disgusted.

I'm glad i hate the series so much already because if i didn't i certainly would now.

*Hides the rainbow gun skins he bought yesterday for 320 points*

Err, yeah! Day 1 DLC sucks!

Down with Epic and their amusing weapon skins!

They're weapon skins. Who cares? It isn't going to impact your game it at all... it is purely cosmetic. It isn't like not having these skins are going to impact the story or make you better in multiplayer... it's fluff. Nothing but fluff.

What's the point in complaining here? This is harmless as DLC comes.

EDIT: The wording seems to imply that you earn these skins naturally through multiplayer. It says "UNLOCK every weapon skin". This seems to imply (to me) that you will get them anyways by playing the game, and "DLC" is nothing more than a way to get all the skins without playing the game. It's for people who are too lazy to earn all the skins themselves through multiplayer. I COULD be wrong, but this is what the wording implies to me.

EDIT 2: You can buy the skins individually as well. I seriously do not see the problem in this, even if my above statement is totally wrong.

You can unlock a few of them, but most of them are purchase only.

Fine if you're into that sort of thing.

I <3 my rainbow guns!

Is that 3600 points? Or just 360 points?
You're optimism is nice to see but you know the truth.
OT: It's times like these that my words fail me and can do nothing but resort to my profile pic.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing that up for me. That's not bad at all really. You can unlock some of the skins, and buy the ones you really, really want individually without having to sink the 3600 points into the entire pack. That's a sound enough plan I suppose.

Yeah, the animated skins are bit more (something like 360 points), while the non-animated skins are around 240 points.
