Fuck those two. Okay, more Lightning Smough, but still. DAMN THOSE TWO BASTARDS!!
Look forward to bed of chaos then...
Single most frustrating thing in gaming history.
For the bed of chaos quit after you destroy each orb thing, when entering the game again you will spawn outside the fog gate with the orb you destroyed still destroyed (ofc). Saves so much time and probably so much rage.

Smough and Ornstein ain't to bad if you can move quick. Smough takes bleed damage. If you go against super Ornstein stay close/under him. Use the pillars to slow one of them down or both.

Oh I know. Sunk at least 80 hours into that game I believe. You can snipe the left twig after you slap the right, and just keep to the wall back and make a small jump. The tricky part is the middle, not getting slapped down the middle hole by the sweeping hands or roll off the small path you have to land on.. some times you kill it on the first try, other times it kills you 10 times in a row..
Also centipede demon, just annoying..

I didn't know about that. The best I've ever done the bed of chaos was with one death, god know how many times I died on my worst run through. I normally don't find the last stage of the bed of chaos to bad, I've only ever died on it once. May just be luck, but I've killed the thing at least 4-5 times.

The most frustrating thing for me in dark souls was when I swapped to using a strength character for the first time after using 7 dex/dex+int builds. Can't stress how much I despise the dogs, the normal ones in the lower undead burg. I guess I rage so much because I know normally I don't have an issue with them. Impatience is a killer :d

I find poise and faith go well with str builds, heal keeps you going quite a bit. As for the dogs, block them and wait till they start their jump, then strike.

The final boss of Metal Gear Rising (Whose name is a spoiler). Just...fuck.

He eats sword strikes for breakfast. And then you get to fight him barehanded for a while. RAIDEN IS NOT GOOD AT HAND TO HAND COMBAT.

I think I am the only one I manage to defeat them with ONE try!!!
Of course I had the help of a Summon, but even then, it was a hard fight.........but I win in the end.
I ALMOST beat those guys on my first try, no summon needed. I just had to activate Magic Weapon while Lightning Smough attacked me...

Yeah, they gave me more trouble than any other boss up to that point. Probably ended up dying something like twenty times before I finally downed them. Right now I'm stuck in the Oolacile Sanctuary, because there are stone guardians there that toss me around like I'm a football.

OT: Metro 2033 is the only game I've uninstalled out of frustration. Generally, I enjoy stealth mechanics in games. But that's also when the AI doesn't have the ability to telepathically determine your exact location because you couldn't kill an enemy in one hit, and you actually have the ability to lose the AI after you've been found.

You see, I went to the jungle exactly after I finished the bell gargoyles. Now I can't just leave those 30k souls lying around at Sifs, even if I farm it's still lost souls. But the worst part is the battle itself. He keeps jumping around and not letting me get under his legs. That double 360 somehow hits me(Shield up by the way) when I'm under the bastard, insta killing me. I can beat him, I just can't get focused enough to do so.

well you're probably not ready for him yet, i just kept standing under him and chopped him into minced meet without even using my shield. i recommend that you just farm the giant guys in anor londo with the silver serpent ring and/or the mark of avarice. they give tons of souls if you don't suck =3

Urgh, I have one last achievement/trophy to get in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
I was on my second playthrough hoovering these trophies up, and so I needed a zero fatality, zero alarms, and constant hard difficulty playthrough. I swear, every level I was saving (tactically across three save slots) every minute, I was totalled in stealth powerups despite screwing myself for it with those first two bosses, and I'd rejected the tranq rifle as sometimes it could cause death (quite rare but it came up now and again).

I finish the game. Watch through the credits. Pacifist trophy pops, hard difficulty trophy pops... and that's it.

I need to reply the whole game just to get the zero alarms trophy... which I'm positive I should have already gotten, and so have no idea how to change my gameplay to get it.
The game sits on my shelf now, there is significant dust settling.

In Mass Effect 3, when you

fight the Reaper on Rannoch on foot.

It wasn't so tough once you got the hang of it, but the fact that the laser it shoots at you will either home in on you or not home in at all made it really annoying.

Plus, the hitbox on that laser is ridiculous, even considering how powerful it is. You need to roll several times to get safely out of the way, and if you roll in the wrong direction, you're pretty much screwed.

Completely kills the gravitas of the moment when you've got to interrupt the sequence every twenty seconds because fuck you, player.

Way to channel Shodan there, man :)

Though I share your Dishonoured "ruined-no-kill-run" experience, I also had a similar experience but in another game. I was playing Hitman: Blood Money on the hardest difficulty (no saves allowed) and was trying to complete the level where you have to kill the old porn tycoon and the senator's 20-something man-child son. I glided through the level like a ghost, killing nobody... or so I though. It turns out that when I fed the old guy's pet dog a poisoned wiener it counted as an act of violence towards an innocent. DAMN YOU, PETA!!! DAMN YOU!!

The real ***** of it is, I did the entire level again without touching the dog at all only to be screwed out of my Silent Assassin rating once again because apparently the dog counted as a witness to me shoving the old guy over the balcony! So...what? I guess the police have that dog-whisperer guy working for them now?

(The only way to do that level is to tranq the wiener and toss it to the dog BEFORE you kill the old man.)

Once i had a guy die, because i chocked him out, and he went sliding down a set of stairs. So eiter he died from 2 bruises, or fell on his own sword.

more OT, there are different levels of frustration;
- The pissed off kind, i get this whenever i play BF3 and die because i jumped of a 3 foot high ledge.
- The annoyed because i STILL havent finished this boss. Had this with Batman Arkham Asylum. The joker fight was pretty annoying, almost never play those kinda games, and on the hardest difficulty, without the right upgrades, it was a fucking nightmare.
- The game is so bloody broken it is unplayable. Only game i EVER uninstalled because i just couldnt get past a part due to crappy design. (cant remember the name)

Thats all i can come up with.

That and I need to learn how to dodge. Started a new game with a wanderer because I've had it with the slow swing speeds.

i recommend you pick a pyromancer, they start at level 1 so you can spend you souls on stats you actually want + you start with pyromancy which is quite OP at the beginning
