you know i bought gta 4 about a year ago played it so much that i got the red ring and then it lost intrest until now. So what im asking is do you people gta 4 is still fun?

Honestly, in my opinion, Saint's Row 2 > GTA IV.

GTA4 was never "fun", I mean it was more fustrating than fun. I get more joys out of Halo 3's campaign on easy mode (I never play easy, always legondary, due to boredom).

That game's combat is pretty good too.
I might actually buy it when it comes out over here (despite the fact that the story seems terrible)

Well, some games you don't buy for the story. Some games you buy for the blood and the boobs.

I liked GTA IV. I enjoyed the story and the city itself. Shame outside of the story and side quests there was nothing to do but I over-looked that.
Then the 360 destroyed the disc and I got SR2.

GTA IV was ok, not brilliant, it had moved too far from the comedic style of the previous GTA games so I had no problems with trading it in for L4D and then buying Saints Row 2 later

I loved GTA4 and still do. In contrast, I found the Bayonetta demo woeful.

While GTA IV is an amazing game, I can't play it anymore because saint's row 2 ruined it for me. It's simply better in almost every way, and makes playing GTA IV pointless.
