Yes. That, and people will hype themselves up to impossible expectations and try to justify any way that can to get their money's worth.

It's the industry where nobody learns. This is nothing new and has happened after Watch Dogs. Not all the time, but more than enough.

That's the best thing you can do. Just ignore the videos. I tell my youtube recommendation to either ignore the channel or put not recommended. Usually both when I know it's something really bad.

Was going to nitpick the thumbnail, but I've decided I can't be bothered. Nothing in it feels "next gen", and stuff like "npc with metal detector" is something that npcs in V already do, just with other objects. Its not like the npc is actually programmed to look for buried treasure. It'll just be aimlessly wandering around, which I suppose technically is what people with metal detectors do.
Also, It's a fucking trailer. None of this was in-game. There is zero guarantee that just because they did something in a trailer, they'll do it in-game. Do they not remember Watch Dogs?

Sure, but RDR2 already had detailed NPC routines, which GTA VI will probably expand upon.



Their last game wound up looking better than the 2nd trailer let on.
