great trailer and perfect song for it, but it's a shame the comments section is flooded with PC people downing the console release and console consumers themselves.

I'd say it's for the best it remain for the two consoles.
Why? I don't really understand what advantage it being console-exclusive could possibly have for the consumer. The only people that's good for are the people making the consoles.

I find it wonderfully ironic that the game preview has been sanitized and approved for all audiences, when the game itself most certainly will not be. Say goodbye to honesty in advertizing I guess.

And also that people that own those consoles and the ones that will eventually buy one themselves.

I mean really whenever a game comes out and it's not on a console I own I don't go all raggedy against the people made that decision let alone the people that actually buy into it, instead I just go out and buy the piece of hardware it was meant for.

There are so many things on this planet that are exclusive and they all have their reasons, we can't have everything the way we want since that's not how it works.

If GTA V comes out for PC then good for Rockstar, if it doesn't then there was nothing gained and lost in the process and the world keeps on spinning.

Your argument doesn't make any sense. It's not like there's anything having it on console would provide that a PC port would lose in the process - it would gain better graphics, alternate control schemes and even keep the original controls if you have a controller you can plug into your PC. And there's absolutely no disadvantage to porting it to PC either. It's not like it's going to make it more enjoyable on console to not be able to play it on PC. Even if everyone could afford to just go out and buy every single console for the sake of exclusives, it'd still be better if they didn't have to, wouldn't it? What's good - not tolerable, GOOD - about having to buy a console for the purpose of playing a game. There's no upside to it. At all.

Like I said near the end if it comes out for PC then everyone wins.

For the time being that's not happening right now so really it's either get the console it's for or wait and get pointlessly angry.

And as for your last part, you're basically saying consoles shouldn't exist and there's no point in buying one (hence the "there's no upside"=illogical thinking for anyone to consider buying one).

Then why did you initially say you'd prefer it to stick to consoles...?

And, well, I wouldn't exactly be bothered if consoles ceased to exist. But that's not what I was saying, I was saying there's no upside to it being exclusive to anything, because it just excludes some people from playing it for no good reason.
