Gravity Falls and Gaming References

Hey Escapists, I just saw the 5th Episode of the second season of Gravity Falls, and I 've noticed that it references a lot of current games (including Octodad, Five Nights at Freddies). This is the second time the Show did a Video game Episode, the first one being centered around arcades.

What I want to know is, what do you think of the Videogame references in Gravity Falls?

Well first thing, it was a coincident that Five Night At Freddy's was somewhat reference in it. Remember that the episode was made BEFORE the game came out! In saying so animatronic animal/ singer are scary in the first place.

As for the episode, it was cool that they kept Paul Robertson (the guy who did all the pixel related stuffs) around after the first video game episode of Gravity Fall. As usual I liked the episode alot and I actually feel sorry for Giffany. Yesh she was a psycho but I just feel that she got used and got passed around alot once the players moved on. Sure we don't know what happened to the past owners before Soos came round but she must got gotten discarded alot so I just feel sorry for her.

In regards to Giffany: I kinda felt bad for her too, though I think she would have fared better if she had explained things instead of boarding the train to crazy obsessive love town.
